I'm trying to explain a riff on my website.
Deathstalker: Truckartist (??) is frantically running about, casting a spell on Leon Russell and Mike says...
"I've gotta start the smoke, stir the sauce, all the time watching the helicopter"
Now I know this comes from Goodfellas but I can't remember the context. I thought the Ray Liotta character said something about "cutting the coke and stirring the sauce" and he was paranoid about that helicopter following him. but none of the darn movie quote sites list this one.
Any big Goodfella fans here who can clairify this for me? Or do I have to rent it again?

I am a Goodfellas (and mob movie ) junkie
The scene is towards the end when Ray Liotta is all strung out on coke and getting very paranoid.

It's is basically the whole, last 20 minutes of the movie, right before he gets busted. He is making dinner for his family, also trying to go get the coke cut, and a helicopter is following him the whole time. It's also all in narrative voice. Servo

Thanks fellas. It's been years since I've seen this movie. I had a vague recolection of the end and the helicopter. You'll both get credit. The MST gods are pleased. ;D
