If you could schedule your own season of MST3K, meaning that you get to choose the movies for an entire season of the show (or less), what would you choose?
I'd go with The Phantom Menace, Anaconda, Resident Evil, Glitter, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, and Batman & Robin. There was also some movie about an evil dentist that I saw on HBO a while back that would fit perfectly. It may have been called "The Dentist" but I don't actually remember.
People are going to have different ideas of what is and what is not a bad enough movie, so I want to make sure to keep this in good fun so that people aren't offended.

This would require a lot of thinking. My puzzler hurts.

I agree that Jurassic Park 3 was bad, but I personally thought that 2 was even worse. The scene where the flunked-out-of-gymnastics-class girl uses gymnastics to foil the raptors is both hideous and insulting.
Also I'd like to add to my list Volcano and Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Hey all! New poster here. Linked from Don's MST3K website. Thank goodness you put this up, the site on SciFi is full of weird peeps. Couldn't ask a question anywhere!
Anywho, my season would look like this:
1101- Killer Clowns from Outter Space 1102- The Excorsist 1103- Independnece Day (gotta agree with this one) 1104- Hulk (and this one, I was dissapointed) 1105- The Piolit Epsiode to Hercules, The Legendary Journeys 1106- Piolit to Xena 1107- Titanic 1108- Jeepers Creepers 1109- Friday the 13th, Jason Takes Manhatton 1110- Hollywood Bastardized Godzilla 1111- Maximum Overdrive 1112- The Matrix (even good movies should be made fun of) 1113- Dolph Lundren in "He Man, and the Masters Of The Universe"
Again, thanks for the posting site. She's bookmarked!!!

My episodes:
1101-The Brain 1102-White Zombie 1103-Town And Country 1104-Yor: The Hunter From The Future 1105-Unused episodes of Comando Cody & Undersea Kingdom (finish off Cody) 1106-The Master Of Disguise 1107-Godzilla Vs. Mecha-Godzilla 1108-The Alligator People w/short: All Eye's On Sharon Tate 1109-Tentacles 1110-Tarantula 1111-The Avengers 1112-Wild Wild West 1113-Titanic
I'd just like to see them finish off a few of those old serials. I've seen the uncut ending of Cody, and it deserves a good riffing.

This is slightly off topic, but I saw a movie at a wal-mart a couple of years ago called Bible-Man. I guess it was some Bible based super-hero who fights Bible based villians. Does anyone have any more information on this? Sounds like MST3K fodder to me.
Please note that I have no problem with religion of any kind, but a Bible based super hero? That's something to laugh at.

So have you actually seen Bible Man? I'd love to know more about it if so.

Yeah, I know about those spam posts over there. I just don't know WHY they do that.
Anyway....
I was thinking of a hour and a half long episode of 80's hair band/metal bands. They did that PSOne half hour special, which i thought was hilarious... Those old vid's would be awesome MST Fodder. I always wanted MTV to do a spinoff maybe... a couple of cartoon characters making fun of music video's. How fun would that be? There are some TERRIBLE music videos that flowed out of the 80's.

Hmm....I doubt that I have that channel. I sure wish I did though because I'd have to watch Bible Man at least once.

Well I'd like to stick with the classic format. I like those moldies but goodies, and I'd like to get Corman and Bert I Gordon back on board too. We also need another Mamie Van Doren flick, and how about one with Russell Johnson. Another short lived TV show woud be melded into a movie (The Highwayman) and we get some sword and sorcery, "Hawk the Slayer" because it has an elf named 'Crow' in it. And a movie directed by Charles B. Pierce. And the shorts, we must have shorts!
Onward then, to season 11:
1101: Attack of the Puppet People (with short "Soapy the Germ Fighter") 1102: Night Monster vs the Navy 1103: Fiend without a Face 1104: Attack of the Crab Monsters (with short "Manners in School" - I can envision a host segment visit from "Chalky"!) 1105: Wasp Woman (with short "The Cautious Twins") 1106: The Giant Claw 1107: Sorority Girls 1108: Hawk the Slayer (with short "Care of the Hair and Nails" - It's got a bald kid with pinworms, classic!!) 1109: The Highwayman 1110: Future Force (with short "Kitty Cleans Up") 1111: Cat People of the Moon 1112: The Norseman 1113: Sssssss (with short "The Gossip")

I'm curious though, how are you familiar with all these movies and shorts? I'd love to see some of these if I could get my hands on them.

Unsavory, well I'm old (in my 40's) so I was there when stuff like Sssss and the Norseman first aired on TV or on a young company called HBO (gawd, I am old!) + back when I lived in WA state, we had this GREAT videostore, one of the first and largest in the state (before Blockheads swallowed everything whole) and they ha a nice seletion of obscure, strange horror and sci-fi vids. As to the shorts There is a DVD called "Social Engeneering vol 2", it's the best. It's part of a series. (Vol 1, the one on the Drug shorts is sooo chopped up and edited. But the rest all seem intact) Plus do a google search, I can't recall the site URLs, but there are places where you can view the shorts (Prelinger (sp?) is one of them) Nick at Nite, when it was new and funny, used to show shorts ("Shy Guy" was one) and Pee Wee Herman showed the one with "Mr. Bungle" on one of his comedy specials (HBO?)

You may be right, but all the video stores we have around here are horrible. I'm sure I can dig up something that's bad enough to be worth watching though.
