REVIEW:
The book is better than the boring-ass Black Beauty book I am reading now.*
DONE!
*Sorry to offend any Black Beauty lovers. I just hate the book. I am sorry.

West Side Story is supposed to be a retelling of Romeo and Juliet set in modern time with gangs as the families. Read the background of the book before making accusations. P.S. The movie version is great! P.S. STEINBECK! Grapes of Wrath is bad to you then I guess Tom Sawyer is too or Uncle Tom's Cabin or Animal Farm or To Kill a Mockingbird! Picky Picky

Yeah, I don't think you can call something a ripoff when it's an intentional retelling/updating of the story.
I have a degree in literature (whoopee), and I can't stand Steinbeck. I love Twain, Orwell, and To Kill a Mockingbird, but that doesn't mean I love all books considered "classics".
Jane Austen, for example, can jump up my butt.

Hehe, I'm reading 'Mansfield Park' right now. I like Austen, Steinbeck, Twain, Orwell, To Kill a Mockingbird, West Side Story and Black Beauty. I like too many things.

I like short sci-fi stories more than novels. I like one's such as The Lottery, An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge, I am legend, The Bet, and may more. I prefer Biographies more as novels than fiction.

Fine but that doesn't change the fact that Poe33 needs his book reviewed by the people he sent free copies to. This doesn't concern me but I'm a-gettin' riled about it. And you don't want that boyo.

Here: This is an actual review, maybe this will get you started:
"Author Michael DiCerto pens a novel that combines the outrageous fun of HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALLAXY and Monty Python with the search for cosmic meaning. Exotic imaginings and bizarre adventure lend MILKY WAY MARMALADE an irresistible appeal with its whimsical and outrageous style. Science fiction fans will discover DiCerto's gift of fabulous characterizations and wicked plotting lends a dynamic freshness to the genre. With rich nuances that become at once spiritual and satirical, MILKY WAY MARMALADE belongs on the keeper shelf. Very highly recommended."
There....not bad, huh? One of many. One add to the hype?

Come on people, whoever made that promise should honor it.
Review the book. Or Crows disembodied skull will haunt you for the rest of your days (and you know how that effected Mike!)

That's pretty cool to have an actual writer here (and the only person I've met...well not really met but you know what I mean, who is actually in the IMDb). How are your sells with this book? Any chance we'll see a moving picture version?

Poe, I think it's time to name names. Who are these delinquents? Let us know so we can mock them in a derisive manner for their negligence.
