I really must disagree with your giving Projected Man and Deadly Bees C ratings.
Those are two of my favorite eps. Whenever I've shown them to my friends we've all been on the floor laughing. I really think you should watch them again because I suspect you'll think more highly of them.
What do everyone else think? Projected Man and Deadly Bees, Yay! or Nay!?

Umm, okay. But I still beleive that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, call me crazy.
And, I always watch them twice before viewing (which is why it takes me a week to post them) and I have seen these before when they originally aired on Sci-Fi. 3 or 4 viewings I think is a fair enough shot.
P.S: I'm not the only one, Eichelberger gave Projected Man a C-, MST3UK gave it 3 out of 5 stars.

Oh you're entitled to your opinion. I'm not crazy. I'm just disagreeing. And I'm depressed is all, cause I love these eps.
More then anything I'm curious as to whether my opinion about these two eps is the majority or the minority.

I've yet to see them which is why I can't really contribute much more than riotting suggestions.

And why should my opinion or anyone elses depress you. Even if we all hated them, (and I don't BTW) that doesn't prevent you from enjoying them.

Remember too, these are graded as compared to other MST episodes. A C in the MST world would be an A compared to most sitcoms I've seen. I watched a bit of "Will and Grace" while chanel surfing the other day and didn't laugh once. I got more laughs from 10 minutes of Bees and Projected than I did from that "hit" TV show. BUT, I laughed more during "Memory Bank" (A "B" grade) and I laughed more during "Future War" (A "B-" grade). Using that as my map I came up with the grade.
Grading is tough for these types as well. In both I laughed, and Bees expecially had some big laughs. but their were also stretches where I chuckled or smiled, but it didn't knock me out. With those episodes which swing me back and forth I tend to go the B-/C+ grades. I liked Bees better and gave it a C+, which put Projected at a C.

I like Deadly Bees more than Projected Man but their both good. I like MightyJacks reviews but I don't always agree. He loves Deathstalker and I find it a chore to sit through.

Frankly, both of the mentioned eps aren't that funny to me. They both definitely have their moments, but didn't really impress me too much. Give me Werewolf or Hobgoblins over them anyday.

Wow do we disagree on that. I think Hobgoblins is a bit weak. I think movies that try to take themselves seriously work best. Not a lightweight piece of fluff like Hobgoblins.

I think its funny how there are certain episodes that are such love/hate issues and others that everyone agrees on. Here, I have to side with Deadly Bees and The Projected Man, they're both favorites of mine as well and I'd grade them higher than a C, but interestingly the two Mighty Jack chose as examples of things he likes better, Overdrawn and Future War, are episodes I can barely stand to watch. So obviously, comedy is quite subjective and therefore probably doesn't translate well to being given a rating by a single reviewer.

Yes, that is so true, and thats why it's good to have multiple different review sites, so you can get the entire picture of what people think. Oh, and here is the clip: www.atorsmst3ksite.com/bees.WMV

The thing is, it doesn't really matter. Mike talked about that when he heard that director Joe Dante was upset when they MSTed Space Travelers, and Mikes attitude echoes mine. Why should it bother him. Mike thinking it's a sucky film doesn't prevent Dante from sitting in his basement and watching the damn thing all day if he so choses. The fact that someone here thinks I'm nuts for my opinion on Deathstalker, doesn't change the fact that I'll laugh my ass off when I watch it. So it doesn't matter, it's fun to swap ideas but we're going to like what we like, and in the words of Stuart Smally... "Thath's... Okay". I just feel bad that ash2 is depressed over my review. I don't want to bring people down. Listen, next time I do that, just say to yourself "What a dickweed" and move on. LOL
