Most all of us have seen the "great" episodes - Mitchell, Manos, the Rhinos, Cave Dwellers, and many in the Sci- Fi Channel era and Rhino releases.
But which experiment grabs you that isn't as widely recognized as being "classic"?
In my case, there are two in this category: Code Name: Diamondhead and Village of the Giants. The movies are really goofy (enjoyably so), and the riffing in on-target. CND is some kind of TV pilot that didn't make it to syndication - kind of a "Hawaii Five-0" rip-off with some of the same local actors. There is a bulbous actor named Zulu who plays the sidekick. About half-way in he sings a goofy island song, to which Crow replies "he's singing about how much he hates Jack Lord". I can't see straight every time I see this.
"Village of the Giants" is a Bert I. Gordon pain-tacular starring Beau Bridges and Ron Howard. It's a very dated comedic take on "Food of the Gods", with muyh intentional and unintentional humor. There's a scene in a nightclub in which an American rock band does its best to imitate the look and sound of the Beatles - it's hilarious.

That tears it!!! Those are two episodes that I have never seen, I'll simply have to get my hands on a copy and see them.

I love Sampson and the Vampire Women and Agent for H.A.R.M., especially Agent with lines like "I am mighty elderly man" , "these people did not earn triangles", and too many more to list. Should be a classic, blast it!

I guess I'm partial to the experiments that are failed TV pilots or repackaged TV series episodes.
Good examples are:
Code Name: Diamondhead Mitchell Riding with Death
In these experiments the source material is so goofy it's fun.
Only a couple of episodes are too painful to watch:
Red Zone: Cuba (I *hate* this episode) Manos
Then again, I liked "Hamlet", so what do I know.

ROFLMAO! Ever since I got the net, I've been hearing a lot of people bad mouth Bloodlust. I think it's absolutly hillarious. Plus the movie is watchable too. I also think Hamlet is very underrated.

Geez phantom, are you old? Aren't you hip to the new lingo? Get with the program and stop, as the kids say today, "Bingling your bongo"! (as you can tell, I've very "with it")
To this rehashed subject I declare that I never thought "Mighty Jack" or "Gunslinger" were as bad as reported.

Hmm, what slang did they use back then to illustrate laughter.
"For verily, I shant chortled to such extremes. If I had thusly, mine bottom area would hath fallen away and I wouldst roll upon thine floor as if I were beset by old scratch himself!"
