Manos is definitely the worst movie ever on MST3K, thought the riffing isn't the best. It is top ten though, perhaps top five. The movie itself is just so bad, even the riffing doesn't help the headache you have by the end.
Even if there is a Frank Frazzetta of Frank Zappa,

I think "Manos" and "Red Zone Cuba" are ones that you have to be a MSTie to truly appreciate on every level. You wouldn't really understand the mads apologizing in Manos if you hadn't seen enough to know that they just don't do that, for instance.
You could still think that they're hilarious, yeah, but so much of episodes like that would be strengthened by already being an MST3K fan.

I'm not a fan of Manos. I'll have to watch it again I guess, even though i've watched it like five times, I haven't felt it "grow on me". Here is my review if you are interested: www.atorsmst3ksite.com/ep424.html

I'm with Forrest, Manos and Red Zone Cuba rock on all levels. All you that haven't caught on to them yet need to watch both this entire weekend just over and over and over again until your eyes bleed.
By the way, I have to say that both movies are reviewed on the Agony Booth. I don't have the website address handy, and I'm too lazy to find it, but search it. And the Manos review links you to a really hilarious article done on Manos - someone actually found two of the guys who were on the film crew and knew Hal Warren. It's got some eye openers if you haven't read it yet - like why Torgo's knees are so funky.

Playing Torgo at birthday parties, resteraunt openings, the works. Of course that's just what I think. Torgo rules.

He's buried in Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso county, Texas. I say we all set a date up and meet there and have a big Torgo Bash! Of course it would be B.Y.O.K. (Bring Your Own Knees)

(Bring Your Own Knees) Yeah, and give John one last hurrah to tell him that some people appreciate his brilliant performance as Torgo. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have a screenname. (OK, I probably would have went with either Godzilla or Ensign Mike Nelson, but still...).

Agonybooth also has some other movies done by MST. I didn't realise how much they edited Mitchell. So it was cool to find out about the "mustang hood" guy and how John Saxons character was killed off in the original.
Same goes for Parts: The Clonus Horror. Looks like that one got chopped up as well.
