So many people were awaiting me to watch the horrible horror that is called Manos: The Hands of Fate. (Like, two) Though Manos is terribly bad, there has been much worst movies that have been played on the uber Mystery Science Theater 3000. ::cough, HAMLET!, cough:: I liked the riffs on it, and the film is so bad that Joel, Crow, and Tom could make easy targets. And now, I can officaly decide whether I like Mike or Joel better. But I won't, so I can make people anticapate it more and make a whole 'nother thread.
MAAHA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Thank you for reading.

I agree - Torgo IS a life changing experience.
Before I would simply be like "Oh, he has big knees." But now, it's like "OH MY GOD! BIG KNEES! RUN!"

I love the "alternate large body part for a monster" sketch!
also, it is the only film where the Mads apologize for sending such a bad film!
"Mommy, the dog is sharp again!"

I like the part when those two women are driving back to the place and Tom Sevro acts as one speaking. "Did you ever meet Jeff? Oh, you should really meet Jeff. . ."

There are so many great lines in Manos heh:
<Joel> Pull my finger!
<Servo, singing> Smoke on the weirdo!
<Servo> Daddy, my core temperatures dropped.
<Crow, as the background shifts from left to right> Oh no! Now we're going back the other way!
<Joel> You are the driver. What would you do if this happened to you? Manos.
<Joel> Uh, would somebody like to break the ice?
<Joel> DO SOMETHING!
<Servo, as Torgo> Uh ek ah oh uhm erph ak hack nik hibbit. Burp. Ah, much better.

Isn't this the one where Mike says "Every frame looks like someone's last known photgragh"?

Isn't this the one where Mike says "Every frame looks like someone's last known photgragh"? Mike's not in it (except as Torgo at the end). But I think one of them said it. I'm watching it tonight for a review. I'll get back to you.

<Torgo> There is no way out of here, it will be dark soon. There is no way out of here. <Crow> It'll be dark soon. I don't know why, but that riff cracked me up.

I don't know, Manos does nothing for me. "Red Zone Cuba" is the same. By me, "cheesy" shouldn't equal equal "depressing". To make sure you can live, laugh, and love again, spool up "Mitchell" or "Village of the Giants".

Manos doesn't really do anything for me either, but it is something you HAVE to see. It's easily in the ten worst ever done on the show. And although it's not one I watch often, it does have a lot of great lines.
"This is gonna turn into a snuff film isn't it, Joel?" "Noooo, the mads wouldn't do that!"
"So, Manos." "Yep, Manos." "The hands of fate?" "Cambot, Manos."
