Just a few questions folks:
Since I've seen so many bad movies come out on DVD - many of which are now in the public domain, some of which in a box set, do you guys think mst3k:tm still has a chance - albeit a small one - to come back on a rerelease?
Now, a second question: in Ward E, they describe Crow in the last scene as follows:
(Crow chops into the ship hacking wildly. He stops suddenly and then with an impish grin.)
An impish grin? Who the hell wrote that?

Yes and no
They can easily be released by a snap of a finger by the people of Universal, they own the rights to THIS ISLAND EARTH.
But they will never want to rerelease because they consider it a DUD because Gramercy handled it poorly.

You know this is the perfect case of if enough of us hounded Universal with letters, then, they might actually consider it a viable option. Us wondering will get us nowhere, ACTION MUST BE TAKEN!!!!
Sorry, got a little wild there,

And I want extras, like deleated scenes so I can see how an impish grin looks on Crow!
Edit: Weren't the sales avergaes actually pretty good for the movie? I know it made no $$ because they didn't put it in enough theaters, but I seem to remember reading that they did alright with the screens that did show it.

Image Entertainment originally distributed the movie, perhaps we could also hound them.
I wouldn't hound Rhino about it though, maybe only as a passing suggestion, since they've done a hello of a lot for mst3k.
Ah well, in any event, I'm saving my pennies for a copy on dvd one of these days.

Just re releasing the DVD in it's original form isn't enough. It should be restored to it's original length befor Gramercy made them cut it. It would make business sense because many of the people who originally bought it would buy it again.

They should release it so that you can choose to either watch it as it was released to theaters, or so that you can watch it with the deleted scenes included. And so that you can view it in letterbox format.
