What are some example of things that most women hate but men love.
These are a few that I have noticed: 1) MST3K (of course)- let's face it the majority of posters here are men, and we've discussed many a time of how it's hard to get women into MST3K 2) Pro-Wrestling- on a wrestling board I frequent there is a big thread on how hard it is to find women who enjoy pro wrestling. Women can get into other sports except to this one (and don't start the it's not a sport thing, get into the ring with a REAL wrestler and then tell me it's not a sport) 3) Three Stooges- Mighty Jack may be the ONLY man to not like the Three Stooges. I can't remember who said this but "men idolize the Three Stooges, on list of people men admire it goes something like Abraham Lincoln, Babe Ruth and Moe!". But I have yet to seen a woman who enjoys the Three Stooges. 4) Bad B-Movies- a bit of an off shoot of MST3K but I don't think I've seen that many women enjoy bad cheesy B-Movies, which is one of my favorite things to watch.
Yes I know SOME women like these things and SOME men don't like these things but I'm talking the majority. That's all I can think of now, can anyone think of any others?

Now, as far as presidents go, I don't really think of Abe Lincoln first. I'm thinking Harry Truman. Now that was a mans man.
Him and the Stooges. I hope Nightfalcawk was being sarcastic about not liking the Stooges.
I hope.........

Okay, gotta call time on this one, guys...
1) Yes, I'm a girl! Been one all my life and I LOVE MST! It appeals to my sense of humor in a way that nothing else out there does. It also had female writers, producers and performers, as I recall. I will grant you that when I've shown tapes to freinds, the males seemed to "get it" more quickly. But one of my favorite memories is showing Attack of the the Eye Creatures to my freind Suzy and her laughing so hard she literally fell out of her chair.
2) I'm not claiming I've watched wrestling all my life, but thanks to a boyfriend who's a devoted fan, I have recently started to really like it! I even rented Beyond The Mat to get a better idea of the grind behind the matches. Wrestling is apparently actively trying to attract more women viewers with the storylines (such as Trish, Chris and Christian) and I think its working, but they'll have better luck once they start treating the female wrestlers with some respect. I have yet to see a single female match, including ones for the belt, that didn't cut half the match for commercials or have the announcers yapping about either upcoming matches between men or the female wrestlers boobs. Sighhh...
3) I'll give you the Three Stooges. Never my cup of tea.
4) I forgot the fourth one. Oh, well.
But anyway, even if men and women don't find the same things enjoyable all the time, it's probably for the best. We all need some gender definition and better to do it with our choice of TV and magazines than with oppression and war. Let's hear it for modern entertainment!

Oh, and it depends on the B movie. Some are hysterical, others merely painful. Kinda like life.

Sighhh... The announcers are always yapping about the main event in undercard matches (male or female), thank you Tony "Dipshit" Schivone. Usually female matches are full and I guess they have been doing that for the last few weeks The Trish-Jericho-Christian storyline is really an offshoot of an angle between Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle which was increasing female viewers but Triple H changed everything when he decided to turn himself bad so he could feud with the returing Steve Austin who was the biggest star of the ninties. That turned off most female viewers and was the beginning of the WWF's decline from the glory years. The female boobs thing is thanks to Jerry Lawler who has become quite possibly the most irratating commentator of recent times. He's just a dumbass, not the companies fault but they really should fire him and get another color commentator to take his place.

These are only sweeping generalizations, of course, as I haven't yet met every man and woman on the planet, but I'm working on that...
Martial Arts films - I've only met one or two women who can sit through a Bruce Lee film. The only thing I've seen getting more women into chop-socky is Jackie Chan, who crosses over with the mainstream and comedy angles.
Action figures - How many adults besides me have action figures lining a shelf, taped atop a PC, or just tossed in a drawer? A good deal more men than woman, I imagine.

I'm proud of being a guy who isn't into the popular stuff. Pro Wrestling? I can't believe other guys like to watch these big sweaty men wearing nothing but spandex briefs grappling each other. Makes me sick. Also, I don't LIKE watching these B-movies. It's more for the riffing, which is eighty billion times better.
Frankly, i'm suprised at how many MSTies are female, especially on this board. I think it's awesome! All I need to do is meet a girl that is within 1,000 miles of me that also enjoys the show.

Pro Wrestling is reatarded. I'm sorry. Actually. I don't mean this to sound racist, I'm not meaning to be at all, but I have only seen ONE African American MST fan in the Scrape Book Tape. All other fans I've seen have all been white, from age 16 to 40. Is this true, or am I an idiot? Ha Ha Ha, yes you are, yes you are (mainly for the pro wrestling thing). So Ator is boxing gay because it's two men in silk shorts fighting each other without shirts on? Could you tell that to Vitali Klitschko. Also the reason they where trunks is because it's safer to the wrestlers, if they all wore shirts and shorts they would have alot more small joint breaking (like fingers) but there are a lot of wrestlers that wear shorts and shirts, like at the ROH show I was at last night.

I hate wrestling and Three Stooges. The whole act is hitting each other! Wrestling I like because it's a drama with fighting. That's fun. The Stooges are slapstick. It's funny. Well, I guess you don't have to like them, but, you can't always just watch smart humor. Servo
