Many of the reviewers, and alot of the people who i've talked to, said that this isn't that good of a "making of". I think it's great! Sure, Penn Jillette is annoying, but he did a good job playing that pompous, artsy version of himself. Also, it got comments from writers, critics, actors, and fans, which is pretty cool because they all reacted to the show the same way I did, which makes me feel like i'm not crazy.
Thoughts?

I think it's half good. I didn't need the "celebrity" comments. It needed more from the cast and less Penn Jillette.

Penn Jillette is always annoying to me. But I liked the special, just to see the snapshot in history, as they did so many more eps after it was made. There are several riffs on him (Jillette) in various eps, and I was just wondering the other day if they were before or after this particular special. Doogie Howser is also riffed in eps, and he made a cameo in the special - I was wondering what he thought about those too...
