By the way, what did everyone think of the Spider-Man II teaser at the begining of Return of the King. I think it looks awsome. Great Doc Ock effects. Yeah that trailer looked totally badass. I'am a big Spidey fan and I hope the sequel doesn't disapoint me but from the looks of things it probably won't.

Latest news from the Marvel film industry. Patrick Stewart says that X3 "should" come out in 2005. I don't know how to take that "should." Is it should as in "we're planning on it" or should as in "it should, but probably won't." www.superherohype.com/x-men/index.php?id=779And the Daredevil directors cut has been pushed back to 2005. No word on why, although it is highly likely that it has something to do with the studio using it to hype up Electra's solo movie, also due out in 2005. www.superherohype.com/daredevil/index.php?id=783And finnally, Spider-Man II's budget has swelled to over 200 million! This is pure insanity, i'm hoping for a great film, but I do hope they don't go overboard! www.superherohype.com/spider-man/index.php?id=788

The Green Goblin is a silly villian in general. In the comics he carries around this big purple purse that he keeps his weapons in. But they included him because he is unarguably Spidey's nemisis. He killed Gwen Stacy (Peter's first true love) and knows Peter's true identity. Venom's my personal favorite, but the Goblin's done the most poopie to him. I know it's been up a while, but, I just saw this post. The Goblin is my favorite villain so, I must defend. He's that classic, old-school bad guy that has the personal bond but is a psycho. He ruined Peter's life all for his own amusement. Sure, he has the big purple bag, but, he's also got that bitchin glider and the overly colorful and cool costume. Long live the Goblin, Servo

Oh yeah, Goblin rocks. You gotta be a bad ass to carry off the purse thing and still strike fear in peoples hearts.
Also: What's this rumor about Pixar and Marvel I've been hearing? I know they're still a little rough with humans, but they are getting better and this could be a perfect fit. (picture Ross' "Marvels" come to life. wow)

(picture Ross' "Marvels" come to life. wow) I'd like to see how the Incredibles turns out first but Pixar and Marvel might make a good team. Especially for some movies that may be too expensive for live action. As far as I know, I'm pretty sure Pixar is leaving Disney and is going to start talking to other studios this March. www.superherohype.com/index.php?id=784Here's an early review of Man-Thing which boosts my confidence... www.superherohype.com/index.php?id=794

You know, this might sound strange but, I didn't really like the Blade movies. I thought they were pretty damn stupid actually. I don't like Wesley Snipes, the only movies he was worth a crap in were the ones where he had Woody Harrelson with him. Now, White Men Can't Jump, that's a classic. I'm not one who enjoys nefarious drivel such as Blade and Demolition Man though.
If it ain't got Billy Hoyle with Snipes, I don't care,

Some news I recieved today includes the Punisher (not surprisingly) now officially being the third movie int Avi Arad generation Marvel movies to recieve an R rating (the other two being Blade and Blade II. The Daredevil Directors Cut got an R as well). And we also got our first look at Hannible King from Blade: Trinity. He looks like Edward Norton having a bad day.

I'm pretty sure from the end of X-2 that the villain in either the next one or the 4th one is going to be the Dark Phoenix. I mean, come on, they set that up like a batch of dominoes. Hell, they even used the phoenix effect when Jean Grey died. Sorry if I ruined that for anyone.

Servo Phoenix is the dead obvious route to anyone who has read at least two issues of X-Men or seen that 90's cartoon. I said "Phoenix" to myself in the theater, and my friend said "Phoenix" to himself when he saw the movie on DVD. ;D

I think if they hadn't went out of their way to make it blatantly obvious it would have been a lot more fun, but, because of that, the thrill is gone. Sure, it'll be cool, but, if you've ever read an X-Men comic, you know what's coming.
