The Mountain is always seen in depressing shades of gray.

"Oh to play on Francis Mountain with the beasts and the colorless balloons you can't drink enough coffee on Francis mountain though you're thinking I can't get out of here too soon..." Neil The Younger
uh, anyway, on Colehead mountain you can double park, hey, park alot, park your car anywhere you like, but park, park, park...park...park...park

Allright, do we have another Neil fan on board? I'm not sure if all the kids here will get your post losingmydignity but I loved it.

I haven't heard the song specifically, but it's been referenced many times in MST3K (Eegah, specifically, I believe).

Yes, I love Neil though I laughed hard when I read in Kevin Murphy's book about the cats howling while he listened to Decade...Young's voice isn't the greatest in the world. In fact, I wasn't a fan till fairly recently. anyhow, Sugar Mountain was for a long time tainted by its association (for me) with a High School teacher of mine who played that song on his acoustic guitar for us in class (could make a nice parody, that). Hey, guys this is about mourning your loss of youth so I'm playing it for you, get it... I later saw same High School teacher picking up on some 18 year old hottie at a party...well you get the picture. It took me a long time to grow to love Sugar Mountain. I happen to love Coleman Francis too...honestly.

Neil is an awsome singer, just unusual. Songs like Sugar Mt and Heart of Gold please the masses but longtime fans would rather hear the more obscure and lesser played songs.

Hey losingmydignity, you have the choris to Francis Mountain but I may run with your idea and try to write a few verses. I guess I'll need to study the Francis trillogy for ideas.

On Coleman Francis Mountain you see a lot of ugly guys dressed up like Druggist's and they're all carrying bottles of acid... hoping to get lucky!

Go for it phantom engineer...
Perhaps we can work up a songbook. Expecting To Fly (with words to match Starfighters) The Loner (Beast of Yucca Flats) A Man Needs a Maid (Blood Waters of Dr. Z) and...Long May You Ruunnn (Incredible Melting Man, hee, hee)
Study Coleman...good god, hold on to your sanity PE!

The riff "Oh, you and your shi shi frog legs" and then the dumping in the well is one of my top ten favorite moments of MST3K...
On CF Mt. if you get all fancy and posh and stuff, if you start even thinking of serving garlic mashed potatoes or blackening your catfish, hell if you even know what foie gras or even lemongrass is...you get DUMPED IN THE WELL!

Rootie Patootie.... ? Did I miss something? Is that a Francis quote? Sounds more like something Little Richard would say.
