Explained in the ACEG. It was a long-running ad in Variety by a producer trying to drum up interest in a film he wanted to make. It apparently never was.

There is a listing albeit a very incomplete one on imdb for a movie titled Chief Zabu. But that should be taken with a grain of salt.
Imdb is a lot like wikipedia ie people can sign up and add/change content at their leisure. A MSTie can just be messing with us!

That would be an extremely long way to go for an extremely esoteric joke.

In some episodes, Trace's Crow (and sometimes Mike) does an extremely funny impression of a nasally-voiced person, often with references to someone named "Nell". One example is in Outlaw, where Trace also does the impression to mimic the dwarf character. I feel like I should know this, but I can't quite recall what it's from.

We were watching a Host Segments video (my son loves it :-) ) and my husband during the Earth vs Soup focus group segment (shown during the IMM episode) that at the beginning Dr F blows out some candles that are in front of the screen. Anyone know what that is about? I know candlelight was used in early projection, but wasn't the candle near the slides and not the screen?
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Thanks!

I always took it as a mock up pantomiming blowing out limelights, especially given the old "the end" title card that appears just before it. EDIT: Here's a link to the host segment if anyone has a better insight: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlftOwkXRRE&feature=related&t=434

where does the phrase 'mama jamma' come from? Slang? There was a 1981 hit for Carl Carlton called "She's A Bad Mama Jama (She's Built, She's Stacked)" youtu.be/-Sl5VurCaIQPrior to that, I don't know.

I think its first use is back in the 20's, rag music, an African-American rhyming slang invention. I'll go do some hunting to see if I can hunt down who first recorded the term

In Attack of the Giant Leeches, when Crow says "Oh so he's the killer leech", Tom Servo says "no Letch, it's attack of the killer letch". What does he mean by that? Did I spell that right?
