this movie for some reason reminds me of Manos, like Ortaga is like Torgo. a great episode! No wonder, it has that same icky Sixties look about it, and as well the film is a bit filmy, if you'll pardon the pun.

I saw this movie at the drive-in when it first came out, and couldn't believe it! My mom saw it, too, and thought it was hysterical.
Then MST3K did it, and I loved it even more!

Some fans swear this episode sums up the SCI-FI years. You either love it or hate it. I, for one, love TISCWSLABMUZ. Riffing is spot on and automatic. Also, the interludes are quite enjoyable. It's my favorite episode of MST3K.
Funny quote during song "It hurts":
She's got a God given talent.....for making tuna caserolles.

I have a hard time believing this is a great episode.
Like Racket Girls, you have to sit through these long-ass unedited shots just to get to the funny stuff. It takes its toll on the viewer AND Mike and the Bots. If you could chop out 95% of the female wrestling in Racket Girls or 95% of the show pieces from TISCWSLABMUZ then I would argue that these are great episodes worthy of repeated viewing.

I agree with Racket Girls, but I love the riffing during the performances in TISCWSLABMUZ.
Mike: You know what I'm looking at right now?
Servo: What?
Mike: That exit sign over there.

I believe it's- Shook out of shape No way. It sounds like "schick out of shape", but seems it should be "ship out of shape", derivative of the term "shipshape", but beats me. It IS in fact, Shook Out Of Shape.. Saw a picture of the soundtrack cover awhile back..I'll post when/if I can find it..

I'm surprised that more of the TISCWSLABMUZ detractors haven't chimed in. This ep is not popular with everyone but I like it. It really is a vile and ugly movie and not everyone can stomach it. But what really cracks me up is the musical numbers. They're presented as if they are real "entertainment." And the faux Felliniesqe dream scene, man Steckler was reaching there! So the movie is a piece of crap but the riffing is great. A funny ep.

I'm trying to take the high road and control my critical nature.
But "vile and ugly" are a good start, phantom.
Worst episode ever. I shant watch it again for a long, long time.

It's my favorite Sci-Fi episode, not suprisingly (or is it?) it was the first Sci-Fi ep I saw.

To me, it's just ICKY! It just looks so tacky and dirty and old.

That scene just cracks me up. It's played so deadpan serious.

One of those eps that rubs people the wrong way. Not me though! It's in my top 20. I especially love the riffing during the musical numbers & the duct tape references. And for the rest of my life, there'll always be the voice of a swarthy woman with a gumdrop-sized mole in my head calling me a "feelthy peeg" (besides my Mom, that is.)

That scene just cracks me up. It's played so deadpan serious. No doubt, the acting always struck me as very 'Teenage Strangler-esque'; "from community theater to the big screen".

I really don't understand why it is so polarizing. The person that compared it to Manos was on to something. However in TISCWSLABMUZ there is stuff actually happening. I think it would have fit in very nicely during the CC era.
