Another thing I've wondered about, was Bill Ward famous? SABBAF! ? Are you known for your work in the theater?Any way I just got the forty first anniversary edition Has comedy commentary by Joe Bob Briggs who ever he is? Have not listened to that yet, but did listen to Stecklers and his interview both very interesting. The apartment with the storage lockers behind them was his and Carolyn's

This episode ranks very low for me. Its definitely the worst episode in Volume 9.

I completely agree that this is a very polarizing episode. I mean, Don & Forrest both gave it an "A" grade, while Mighty Jack says that it's one of his least favorite eps.
I'm one of the very few people right in between; I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. I love the Sci Fi era, but I certainly don't consider TISCWSLABMUZ to be a major highlight of season 8. "The Thing That Couldn't Die", "Space Mutiny", "Jack Frost", etc...IMO, these episodes and others have me laughing all the way through. And I honestly never once laugh hysterically while watching "Creatures". Also, I find very little humor in that last sceen by the beach...and it feels like it's never going to end!
That being said, the musical numbers seem to be made for ridicule! And without them, I'm not so sure that this movie would have even been chosen for the show. They're a lot of fun for me and whenever M&TB can make someone's death scene funny, you know they're on their game! LOL. But overall, I don't find this episode half as funny as Manos or Red Zone Cuba.
My personal favorite "dance move": The guy crouches down on the ground & the woman just does a feeble kick over him. Wow. Good times.
