Okay kids, the following list is just for kicks! The KTMA episodes are, by default, EXTREMELY UNLIKELY. However, HELL HAS FROZEN OVER and Joel has more than hinted at possibly unveiling the "earliest episodes" of MST3k as a Kickstarter incentive. Could we possibly be getting the three "Lost" episodes!? A host segment compilation? Something more than that? We'll know soon enough.
One thing is for sure, if we see ANY episodes from the KTMA season, it'll probably be a one-time/limited thing. The shows are far too rough for most casual MST3k fans (hell, how many of us die-hards have watched them more than once or twice!?), where even Season 1 episodes stick out as rough-around-the-edges alongside later episodes. So I'm playing this list pretty loose, and really more for fun that actual release likelihood.
K01 - INVADERS FROM THE DEEP Shout Factory released the complete series this 'movie' was culled from, STINGRAY, so arranging some limited release for the MSTied version could be fairly easy for them. Consider it Relatively Likely.
K02 - REVENGE OF THE MYSTERONS FROM MARS Shout Factory released the complete series this 'movie' was culled from, CAPTAIN SCARLET AND THE MYSTERONS. Same as above. Relatively Likely.
K03 - STAR FORCE: FUGITIVE ALIEN 2 Shout Factory licensed this from Tsuburaya Productions for Vol. 14, so same as above. If it requires a renegotiating with Tsuburaya to issue the KTMA version, I could see SF opting to just release K01 & Ko2. Relatively Sorta-Likely.
K04 - GAMERA VS. BARUGON
K05 - GAMERA
K06 - GAMERA VS. GAOS
K07 - GAMERA VS. ZIGRA
K08 - GAMERA VS. GUIRON Millcreek Entertainment has current Bluray/DVD releases, licensed from Kadokawa. Shout's Gamera rights are currently expired (I believe SF is working on reacquiring them).
K09 - PHASE IV Olive Films (licensed from Paramount).
K10 - COSMIC PRINCESS A&E Home Video
K11 - HUMANOID WOMAN This got a DVD release under its international title TO THE STARS BY HARD WAYS by Ruscico/M. Gorky Film Studio, but I believe it's out of print. The rights are probably back with the original rights holders.
K12 - FUGITIVE ALIEN same as K03
K13 - SST-DEATH FLIGHT This showed up on a Echo Bridge Entertainment 6-movie set called "Disaster: Land & Sea," licensed from ABC.
K14 - MIGHTY JACK same as K03
K15 - SUPERDOME This showed up on a Echo Bridge Entertainment 8-movie set called "Movies for the Man Cave," licensed from ABC.
K16 - CITY ON FIRE The only copyright is under City On Fire Productions Ltd. AVCO Embassy released this briefly in the US theatrically, so it's possible MGM has the home video rights now.
K17 - TIME OF THE APES same as K03
K18 - THE MILLION EYES OF SU-MARU MGM
K19 - HANGAR 18 Olive Films released this on DVD fairly recently.
K20 - THE LAST CHASE Code Red released a director's cut DVD awhile back, but it's out of print now. Crown International released it theatrically, but the film is probably now with its Canadian rights holders.
K21 - THE LEGEND OF DINOSAURS Media Blasters released this under its international title LEGEND OF DINOSAURS AND MONSTER BIRDS, licensed from Toei.
