I hate to say it, but most of the time good morals would come along with saying goodbye to heroin even if you *can* afford both.
I guess it just depends on the circles that you run in.

I'm running in circles as we speak.

See, you'd stop doing that if you'd just lay off the Heroin....

I think it has something to do with the bandwith. You're going to have to get more bandwidth, which means shelling out some more money. Don't worry - you won't miss the heroin.

It's not my bandwidth, I'm just a humble moderator. Maybe we'll all have to chip in and send Forrest some bandwidth dough. And the heroin thing was just a nasty rumor (started by me).

"Too many connections" has nothing to do with the number of members, but the number of people trying to access the message board at the same time.
Browsers tend to open many concurrent connections, one will download the actual page, another set of connections will download the images, et al. A server can only handle X number of connections, when it reaches or exceeds X, it can die, not respond, etc ... In an effort to stop that crap from happening, Proboards sets a limit on the number of concurrent connections.
Well that's the short, not-in-depth answer.

It happens sometimes when Users Online at the bottom of the page says just one or two people online.

I occurs for me at the most random of times. Maybe it's just my provider or something. Oh well, it's not a god-awful problem anyways.

I'm willing to send him my lunch money for a day. Aside from that, the rest goes to college, I'm afraid.

Just learned this. The server is designed to do this.It keeps the site from crashing. If you keep hitting the refresh button every 5 seconds it will slow the server down even more.
