I need to go to the bank today....and I need to resell college textbooks at a University store....and I should check to see if I have the funds to purchase stuff....
But I'm too tired to leave the computer. Oh, well....

Blah, at least you're not sick. One of my visiting relatives obviously got me sick the other day. Now, I'm just sitting here, shooting cough syrup, trying to watch TV.
Why's everything spinning.....

Well, I'm not sick yet, but my sister's been sick for days now, so it's only a matter of time before I come down with something.
Oh, and incidentally, I went to the bank, the store, and attempted to return the college books about ten minutes after I posted the previous thing. Just got back.

Thanks. That story really needed closure.

I thought so, too. Maybe it should've had an earthquake in it just to spice things up a bit....

Now that's creative thinking.

I know. I'm glad that I thought of it. It just popped into my mind, like "Hey! Why doncha have an earthquake or somethin'? Because earthquakes rock!"
And the thought had an annoying high-pitched voice, so I just agreed with it hoping that I wouldn't have to hear it make that suggestion again.
And so far, the voice has yet to return.
And now I miss the voice, and am wishing that I had ignored its request so that I could hear it again.
I never knew how much I enjoyed the voice that showed up once until it decided to not come back again.

That's not us. That's the high pitched voice, talking at exactly the right frequency to shatter you, much like how some singers can shatter glass.

I'm sorry I can't hear you. You'll have to speak up.

Here, I'll just turn up the voice's frequency and make sure that it's aimed exactly at you....

OK, now I can hear it but it's telling me to do terrible terrible things. Which...I...probably...won't...do....

Good choice. If you don't comply, the voices will stay there. I complied, and my voice never came back....and now I'm lonely in my skull....the high-pitched and ghostly voice that spoke with the Elvish lilt....I think that I'll name him Timecode.
