Does anybody (older folks) remember Koogle peanut butter? On the commercial there was this "thing" called the Koogle monster that claimed (through song) he had Koo-Koo-Koogally eyes. This stuff came in all sorts of nasty forbidden flavors. Like, Strawberry-peanut butter, chocolate-peanut butter, banana (flavored)-peanut butter, axil grease-peanut butter. Well, maybe not the axil grease, but you get the point. I can vaguely remember this commercial. I found one small picture of the jar it came in. www.scrubbles.net/scrubs3/koogle.jpgI am going crazy trying to remember what the "Koogle Mosnter" looked like! It seems like Kabam! cereal was just hitting it big around the same time in stores also.

Well I'm one of the olders members but I don't remember it by name. I do recall a peanut butter with jelly in it. Could be it.

Your quite the peanut butter historian. And with this I get my 1000th post. I can't think of a more dignified thread to have it on. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It might just be the beer buzz though.

Wow!!! Would you really want to buy peanut butter with that thing on the label? I mean, maybe on heavy hallucinagenics but, hey, maybe it's not such a bad idea after all. Servo

That is frightening, in a 70's secretly pot induced children show way. I feel sorry for the man who had to wear that horrible costume. He probably works at a car fixing place now.
