Ok. I know this flick has been out for a while, but I hadn't seen it until the other night. Wow. Great movie!! I can always count on the English to put out a good horror film. (Were the "infected" technically zombies?) And after seeing it, I can honestly say I WILL NOT be watching the new Dawn of the Dead. Not only because it's been re-written sacrilegiously, but, they also seem to have stolen some of the film effects. (that sped-up/frantic run thing). But hey, I may be wrong about it. It may turn out to be a fantastic film. And I'll probably be there at the door, slobbering like an idiot, on the opening day. I'm a HUGE zombie movie fan.

I dunno, I didn't like 28 Days Later that much. I mean, it was scary, but at the same time it was just kinda weird.

28 Days Later kinda sucked.
The script was OK, but the acting was godawful and the direction and camerawork just came off amaturish.

Those are the best movies. IMO When it's done in the style of Evil Dead, yes. But 28 Days Later never clicked and it just became a mess to me.

awesome film. pretty spiffy soundtrack, as well. The soundtrack was excellent. I was glad to hear Ascent by Brian Eno after all these years.

Godspeed You Black Emperor! was in the film, but wasn't in the official release of the soundtrack. John Murphy must have been heavily influenced by GYBE! If you're familiar with the band you know what I mean.
