I happen to enjoy Straight Plan for the Gay Man on Comedy Central. It's good to see someone making fun of these guys. It's the same show, for straight people.

I don't know if this is what you mean by smootchers, Forrest, but...
So I'm sitting in on drums for our high school worship service tonight, and there are these 2 kids in the front row almost inside each other's clothes. They can't be more than 14 and they can't keep their hands off each other. In a church service!
Have some frickin' self-respect already! Sheesh.

Yeah, it was definitely a case of teenage "I need to be accepted, so feel free to fondle at will because then I'll have significance."
That's what was so revolting. Which I suppose isn't as bad when the kids aren't barely post-pubescent. But these two....yeeaaarrrch.

Sorry- man I hope God has a sense of humor or I'm dead!
Seriously tho, that's just wrong. Perhaps it's because I was raised Catholic and Church was a very sacred, very solem place. I go to my wifes Lutheran Church and things are so much more relaxed. I'm not saying they're bad, it's just different from where I came from. Heck, if I was 14 and pulled that smoochin trick in Church, some Nun would have smacked me with the ruler on the back of my head!

The religious retreat was the worst day of my life. Imagine mustard soaked balonga and spitballs and snot rags and half eaten apples and spitballs and mayonaisse packets and paper bags of unknown contents being hurled at you in a non-stop barrage for six hours. I smelt and looked like poopie near the end of the day. Those spitball/prayer packets hurt when they get you in the eye!  |
