After watching a bunch of Beavis & Butthead episodes, with the music videos included (unlike the video releases at my video store) on MTV and downloaded ones off my computer, I've done some thinking. I of course posted one of them in MST3K General Chat. Another thing I thought about is if Beavis & Butthead is if it was still around today how much crap they could ridicule and work around. Think of all the crap like Britney Spears and Hilary Duff. I swear those two's music video have alot of potential for a Beavis & Butthead segment. If I ever get my MST3K fanvid back on track and do my fourth episode (tenatively 'The Lizzie McGuire Movie') I would finish off with a Hilary Duff video in a Beavis & Butthead style show.

When I was a young lad about 1000 years ago I didn't care for the music video segments on B&B but after watching reruns of it they started to become my favorite part of the show. If they were still on today I would like them to make fun of those stupid rap videos they have out now.

When I was a kid, B&B music vids was how I discovered bands I actually liked. The KMFDM video "A Drug Against War" blew my mind and I was a fan since the first time I saw it. I think B&B also got me into Prong.
Where did Prong go?

I would still watch mtv a little bit if they actually played videos. And when they do its just pop or rap. I wish I had mtv2.

The only thing I found funny with that stupid show was the nieghbor guy. The one that sounds like Hank Hill. (yeah yeah, I know it's the same voice/creator.)

Is amp on mtv2? #200, but my #199 post was better.
