OK, since everyone else has there own series of polls going as of late, I decided to take my other passion, history, and get some opinions on it. Since there's WAY too many options for this subject, it's going to be a write in poll. Your mission: pick your favorite president throughout history and give a short explanation of why he's you fav. I'll start.
Harry S. Truman: perhaps had the largest balls of any man in history. Ended WWII with, well, a bang. No-nonsense, no-crap taking man, with a strong demeanor. Got this country on top in a hard time. Put the heat on the Ruskies.
"If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen"-Harry S. Truman
"The buck stops here"- Harry S. Truman
Your guys turn.

Teddy Roosevelt- He was the fun adventuresome pres., plus my favorite quote comes from him: Walk softly, carry a big stick, and you will go far.

James K. Polk.
Napoleon of the stump.
He seized the whole southwest from Mexico.
Made sure the tarriffs fell.
And made the English sell the Oregon territory.
He built an independent treasury.
Mister James K. Polk, our eleventh president.
Just kidding. I'll go with Lincoln.

BOOM! Bangorang Torgo! Favorite President huh? I don't know, presidents are overrated and held in to high of esteem as they only sign letters and crap. If people would seriously get involved and try to understand why they really like a president and support him for it, maybe we would be farther ahead than we are today. With prudent and discreet information, we could elect someone who really changes things. We just have to apply ourselves to understanding who we really like a president. That said I'm going with Chester A. Arthur, because of the way that truck driver says his name in Die Hard III : Die Harder. It was fun
