A theroy on how that flag got on the moon
by Percival Q. Van Hagar
Flag on the Moon, How did it get there? The eternal question posed by Coleman Francis. Why would say that in a narration that has no real point to the movie? Could it be that Coleman Francis is a poor writer? Possibly, but I think it goes further than that. I think, no, I know that Coleman Francis knew of the Flag on the Moon conspiracy, but first we need a backstory.
It's 1844, hoop skirts are all the range, the Hindenburg crash, The Vikings won the SuperBowl, Jesse Owen out ran the Flash, Bob Backlund & The Iron Sheik fought to a double disqualification in Madison Square Garden, Tom Hanks Nazi's were rising into power, and Adolf Hitler taught us to laugh again in "Philadelphia". But there was something bigger going on, something more sinister. For you see the government (of a country that I haven't decided) made the decision to pull a hoax on the World. It was called Plan 9, they hired a young movie maker/comedian/scientist called Curly. He was told that he would have to make it look like there was a flag on the moon. At first he bulked but then he was blackmailed for being a communist. He agreed to the idea despite all of his peers would see him as a shill and a puppet.
Years later, Curly was ready to publish a book called "Flag on the Moon, How it got there". But the government got angry at this, the decided to clobber him on the head and realized that was only a temporary fix as he had to be hit on the head constantly. So they decided to create a comedy troupe whichs main premise is hitting Curly on the head. Of course Curly already had comedic talent and so it was a natural fit, they then hired a pair of brothers Moe Fine and Larry Fine. But they got worried that it would seem odd that a pair of brother would be paired with this odd fat man. So Moe was changed into Moe Howard and was "brother" of Curly
I have to take a test now...
when I'm done I'll finish the story...
