I have come to say, DO NOT ENTER THE GHOSTWORKS! it be an evil place filled with carnage and pandemonium.
well, after many lucubrations and chemical endevours, I have come to say I still think minimalism is the best form of pop music, and it's right up there with the blues in simple and wreckless abandon.
on a more coherent note, I've been to mane concerts, and I am going to more. this summer. Lollapalooza day one to see Sonic Youth and other indie bands. Morrissey should be fun (never saw the Smiths, though)
going to see the Aquabats the 18th; this band is so fun to see live! also seeing the Decemberists the 10th. wishing I had a date for this date. I just saw Taj Mahal at the Blue Note. really great show. in fact, going to happy hour tomorrow night. SHOULD BE A mediocre show. ha ha ha.....no do nto wave that mace in my face.
I managed a 3.24 this semester, which could have been around a 3.5, but my f*cking speech professor screwed me over. BAH! I am now working as a your guide/supervisor at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. very sweet job. plan to drive up to Boston for a bit......though that may not happen. also planning on saving for a class during January session in ther Galapagos. holly bejeezus and back!
(any Aqua Teen Hunger Force fans?)
So now, the clouds in front of my through my window are creating an ambience very dream-like and ominent. I think UI'll go wathc some mst3k....been a while.
cheers people!

Wow. You're busy. I'm not. Too lazy. You can tell by my response.

I used to go to The Museum of Natrual History all the time (twice) when I was a kid. It's the best (only) museum I've ever seen.I remember staring up at that giant whale that hung from the ceiling while getting dizzy.
Ahhhh the memories.

indie meaning "independant", or not mainstream. It's not "corporate" or anything. Basically, it's hipster crap. I'm just into the music, though. Well, I can't go to both days of Lolla, and I'm a bigger Sonic Youth fan. My friend is going to BOTH dates, as she is a big Pixies/Frank Black fan. I am a tour guide/supervisor for camp groups that come and visit the museum over the summer, part of the Education department. it's fun. radagast is a lesser known wizard form the Lord of the Rings trilogy. he left his original mission of helping the inhabitants of Middle-earth against the evils of Sauron and became enamored with the birds and beasts of the land. (though if you ask me, he had something to do with the eagles at the end of the trilogy)

Radagast was always one of my favorite characters. A friend of birds and a master of shape and hue...or something like that. Radagast's part was probably the 3rd best paragraph in the book.
