Do you get paid for being an Observer (Moderator) ? It's really wierd, I didn't ask for this job and they told me I have to pay $20 a month for it. I PMed phantom and he said they didn't charge him anything. Odd. But still, having authority of others is worth it. |

There's an on-going joke on my dad's side of the family that someday we need to slip Grandpa Odegaard some Valium so that he will relax. Read: he's really uptight and anxious, and usually it leads to arguments. Most likely to have the most screwed-up family reunion: Eliservo Is it wrong to give myself an award? |

If we're talking dad, my grandma curses all the time and tells sex jokes at the table. My aunt is on some diet that won't allow her to eat organic compounds so she just eats low sodium salt. Talk mom's side and here we go crazy! My aunt is a Bush loving conservative and if anyone even uses his name disrespectfully they get Republicated! Then there are my three cousins who get into heated arguments about the best way to set up the radio controlled jet they are desinging, while my grandma complains. My poor grandpa who has Alzeimer's disease is confused while everyone is going crazy, and I'm in the argument between the cousins which gets so insane that they start ripping off their shirts. Want more extended family? Hold onto your Big gulps! My great aunt who is the head of this new Protestant church starts holding my head and starts talking like I'm some sort of retarded loser. Then my great uncle starts up with the "There is no evolution." thing that makes me want to kill myself because I'm halfway through a book that apparently is demonic. I only scratched the surface, but you get the idea. |
