Hey everyone, I'm back! It seems that yousonuva is the only one who wondered where I was, but oh well, I'm making a thread announcing my return anyway. I thought it was best in this SPAM place. I just finished moving from Lincoln, NE to Salem, OR, with a trip to Yellowstone in between. I drove the whole way, and several things went wrong on the trip. At least I wasn't alone. I don't have Internet at my new place yet, and probably won't for another month, so I'll be gone again for a while. I'm clean broke. So I've been reading back on the past 3 weeks' messages that I missed. Yes, Blurryeye and her unintentionally offensive, highly prized (by yousonuva) "female perspective" is back! For the next 24 hours or so, then I'll be gone again.  |

Oh, I forgot to apologize for not saying goodbye. I was really busy my last few days at work, then I didn't get on the computer on the weekend, and then when I was going to say goodbye on June 2, I discovered that the computer at my fiance's parents house had been disconnected in order to pack the desk it was on. Everything was disconnected, and I couldn't very well put it all together again. So I couldn't access the Internet. Thus, I regrettably had to leave without so much as a word of farewell.

Yeah, for some reason Unsavory doesn't want to flirt with us guys. I think he's getting stuck up.
Salem, great city. Have you been to Oregon before? Youll love the ocean, Bend is beautiful. Damn I miss the Pacific coast sometimes.
Forrest would hate it, all those damn liberal hippie types! And if you're ever near Tillamuck, visit the cheese factory. Mmm, best cheese in the world (oh wait, I'm sure Wisconsinites might argue with that)
My sister still lives there, in Portland.

Dammit! Get to a library internet thing so you can have everyone look at you when you start cracking up on this board. Or just sneak into your neighbor's house and get on theirs (I think it's only 3-6 months if you get caught, no big whoop).
If not, I'll just cut my head with a sharp rock to show my grief, until you get back.

In answer to MightyJack's post, I grew up in Kirkland, WA, near Seattle, and I can't wait to visit the Oregon coast sometime soon. When I have money. So maybe it won't be sometime soon. But I am glad to be back in the Northwest.
I suppose I could go to the public library every now and then to catch up on things here while I'm waiting to get the Internet at home. There's a thought. Unless yousonuva shows up sometime tonight, I won't be posting much more here for awhile.

I feel strange speaking as a "cheese enthusiast" but I agree with MightyJack 100%. Tillamuck cheese is awesome. At least the sharp cheddar.
And as for your accusation of me getting stuck up as of late, I ask you this. Did you not feel I was getting stuck up when I started naming half of my threads after myself? Unsavory's this, Unsavory's that. I'm an asshole, dammit!

Ahh but that's your charm, the gruff but lovable Uncle Charlie type. (But does, the "Stuck up but assholian Unsavory" have the same ring to it?)
And I can't find Tillamuck cheese in the South! Or Black Vines! Red Vines sure, but not the black one. The only black licorece(sp?) here is that crappy Twizzlers. AND that doesn't taste like real black licorece, it tastes like plastic wrap!!
Man I gotta get my sister to send me a care package. Cheese and Black Vines. Oh and go to Spokane and pick me up some of those honking donuts from the "Sweet Shop" (best donuts on the planet. Believe me)
Hmm this could an idea for a thread, best foods from around the world! or better yet, lets call it...
"Unsavory's greatest grub from across the globe!"
