...will include 902, "Phantom Planet" and (get this) 907 "Hobgoblins". Two more titles to be determined.

Whoo! Go Season 9!
Now they need to balance it with one from Season 4 and one from Season 5. (come on 501!)

902 and 907 were broadcast to death. But any MST3K is a good thing.

I've never seen Phantom Planet and I (Being in the minority from the majority of posts I've seen about it on the board) am a fan of Hobgoblins so it will be nice to get an official copy of it. I just hope that's the only one that I already have that will be released. *Crosses fingers*

Wow. Thanks for the news, Alleged.
I half-expected it to be a return to the Mike years after 6 & 7 were so Joel-heavy. I love Phantom Planet and Hobgoblins is a classic. So far, I'm impressed. Unless they throw in "The Incredibly Strange Creatures...", I think this is one I'll be pre-ordering.

The Phantom planet is a classic episode, Hobgoblins (And I never say this about most episodes) Sucks.
I have great copies of these episodes so If they don't put out any season two or four episodes with this set I'm not buying it.

Woah, I love those two episodes. Shaping up to be a great set.
What's the source of the news, by the way?
EDIT: Gah, nevermind. I didn't see it on SN earlier.

This is starting out to be a great set. Let's hope they bring back Mike's intros and let's also hope the episodes are complete this time.

It seems like the worse the movie, the more likely the Rhino release so I can picture Monster-a-go-go also being in Volume 8, or another future set.

I think I'm already sold based on those two episodes alone, but gere's hoping they keep it up with the extras.
Phantom Planet is the one where Pearl gets the "some assembly required" doomsday machine from Spiegal, right? ;D "You guys, I really need that thing for my thing. You know, sometimes I think you don't even want me to rule the world. Well, nevermind how you've hurt me."

In Phantom Planet, I didn't think the riffing was all that good but the host segments were funny. I liked the Andy Rooney impression competition.

I don't care for my copy of The Beast Of Yucca Flats. I wish they would release that one. Almost all of my fan copies are near perfect but that one is kind of lame.

What I'm looking for is some extra features. It's very possible I could pass on this one.
