I see the Rhino-hating has started up early. You know, despite the goofs that Rhino has done, I still have a generally positive attitude towards them. They've done a lot (and generally a good job) over the years, especially Rhino Handmade. Yeah, they aren't perfect, and they could easily do a few steps to improve these MST3K releases, but all-in-all I'm happy with them. I've seen (and had to try and sell) crappily-done DVD releases before, so I really can't be hard on them/bash them.

You know things could be worse.... they could use the DVNR restoration process on MST3K episodes. Good Lord, that would suck.

And, always, thank goodness that at least Rhino has kept releasing episodes. 12 box sets is quite a lot for any TV show.

Yeah, and I'm glad that MST has done well enough for them to continue this series for so many years.

And it also looks like another black spine, despite the front's lack of that color.

The only screwup I see is the grouping of episodes. I could deal with them all separate, but Parts, Starfighters, and Super Dragon all in one set? Wow, this is the cure for insomnia. Lol, yeah, I was kinda thinking the same thing. Still, it's ok. Any time they can get any new episodes out there I think it's great.

That being said... that IS an extremely bizarre grouping of episodes. Don't we have a Joel episode, at least one Mike Comedy Central one, and a Sci-Fi era? Oy vey. I think Rhino needs to get off the pot and release sets that ACUTALLY MAKE SENSE. But whatever, I'm not bringing anything new to the party...

I like Parts myself.
And you know, Rhino has to release the lesser-quality episodes too sometime.

Excuse me if this is a naive question, but why can't Rhino release complete season sets? Does it have to do with the rights to the films, because otherwise it doesn't make much sense to me.
