It pains me to think that my niece will be born into a world without Ricardo Montalban. A great actor, and yes, the best Star Trek villain ever. He will be missed greatly.

KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHN!
Aw damn, 69 beat me too it. But I had to do it anyway.
Just two days ago I was saying to myself "This guy is getting up there." Wow. Fantastic actor. Always stood out in whatever he was in. My fav? I always have a soft spot for his small role in the Planet of the Apes sequels.

Just a few days ago I was watching a DVD of Hawaii Five-O's first season, and Ricardo Montalban was in one of the episodes. He played a Japanese crime boss -- I kid you not. And he did a pretty good job of it, too. He was always worth watching, no matter what he was in.
RIP.

I know it's in poor taste, but this is the first thing I thought of when I heard the news (from the 45 second mark to about 2:05):
Best movie death ever.
R.I.P. Mr. Ludwig.

I was going to say that his coffin was going to be lined with rich corinthian leather, but I felt that was going down the road of bad jokes. But since we're already there ...
It's an odd thing when characters like him pass away. It's like they're immortal in a way. When men like Montalban die, it's like the end of an era.

This was sorry news to me. My all time favorite show list is like MST, The A-Team, Fantasy Island, and CHiPs. I grew up watching Fantasy Island. I have dvds of it that I watch on Saturday nights. And yeah, he was the best Star Trek villain of all time. He had class and style that will be missed. God bless him.
