Lined up my ticket for the Regent 14 to grace Raleigh and Raja with my presence. I plan to not bathe for four or five days before. Maybe laugh at inappropriate times and get up to go to the bathroom at least twice. Look out! Here I come!! Actually I'm rather polite and nondescript. There won't be no trouble outta me. If you're gonna get up twice to go to the bathroom, at least sit up front and in middle of the aisle please? Might as well go all the way. And after every joke, make sure you repeat it real loud for everyone, preceding it by: "HA HA, HE SAID-". People love that. One more thing - finish your drink early, so you can suck the straw on an empty cup repeatedly throughout. Always a winner with the crowd. Oh yeah, and wear a sombrero. You are bringing your neighbor's infant, right? We agreed on that?

My ticket came with a buy one 44oz drink, get a second free coupon. 88oz might mean 4-5 restroom trips. Up and down front it will be!

Oh yeah, and wear a sombrero. Or if you can't find your sombrero, you can always bring a big foam cowboy hat to wear.

I got my ticket today. I'll probably be the only one, at the Regal Stonecrest Cinema 22, in Charlotte NC.
Or not...

I bought my ticket today. Requested the night off (decided against the vacation... I'm a cheap SOB, rather take the vacation money as an extra bonus and work the week). Maybe I'll try and pick up a cute riff chick while I'm at it (sheeyeah right) "Laaadies!"

Seattle theater, here I come! If I can get Busdriver to come too, it'll be twice the fun!

Considering that future CT releases may be recordings of performances in front of live audiences, this Rifftracks show could give us an idea of what that will be like.
Except not only will we hear the live audience in Nashville, we'll have to try listening for the jokes over the sound of the in-theater audiences as well...
Now, if they would tape that...etc, etc, etc.

Is that what they're calling them nowadays? ;D In other news - I had the opportunity to stop by the North Hills Regal 14 in Raleigh last weekend while in the area, and I must say it's quite nice. The North Hills shopping area around it is quite impressive - big fountains, upscale shops and restaurants, a huge hotel, and they've even got a Target store UNDER the theater! (Just so you know, I live in the country, so I'm easily impressed by stuff such as this... )

Re: "Cute" Riff Chick
Hell! Cute, semi-Cute, Cute-challenged, Anti-Cute...
If she laughs at obscure riffs, I'll ask her out...
Edit: only nine days to go!
