I would agree with that. He should have known what was going on in the locker room but the bigger issue is how nobody seemed to have seen what Incognito and the others did as a problem. If I were the Jeffrey Ross, I would have completely cleaned house, but that's not what happened. It will be interesting to see where the Dolphins go from here.

NFL Draft is finishing up today. I'm glad my Packers got some defensive help in the first round, taking Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. I thought he would be gone before the Pack could pick him. I suppose most would argue the biggest surprise was Johnny Manziel falling to the 22nd pick. Look, Manziel has talent, no question, but I'm not sure that the running style QB is going to be effective....Look at RGIII and Michael Vick, both of whom have been injured while running. Plus, will he be able to make the reads, look for the check down guy, etc. And after all, he is playing in Cleveland. Not sure that worked out so good for him.
Biggest surprise might be no team picked a running back until the like the 54th pick in the second round. There were some good guys out there, like Carlos Hyde. Just a little surprising that no team felt the need to draft an RB in the first round.
I hope that some team drafts Michael Sam. He was a beast at Missouri. I think Todd McShay had him as a fifth or sixth round pick, so we shall see.

This is the best time of the year. Baseball is in the home stretch, college football has started, and so has the NFL. Hockey training camps are right around the corner, and so is the NBA.
Personally, I wonder how the college football playoff system is going to work, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

Everyone in Chicago has Cubs fever. It's terrible. I'm not prepared to have the world come to an end if the Cubs should win it all.

Cubs win . . and we're still here to tell the tale. As someone who never, ever watches sports, I confess I was watching with rapt attention (ie., keeping an eye on it while playing video games and watching Wander Over Yonder on my computer) most of last night. I had to stop playing video games shortly after the game tied and the rain delay and the tenth inning got going and stuff like that. As my dad put it, "Once again we see that the Cubs just can't win in October."

I was pulling for the Indians, but there could be worse outcomes than the Cubs finally winning the thing. At least it will hopefully be the end to whining about it being over 100 years since their last World Series championship. As a baseball fan who has grown tired over the years of that sob story, I'm glad that it's finally over.
