This is a topic for certian types of movies you wished had been on mst or had been on more frequently.
I wish they had done another PBS videotaped movie like Overdrawn an the Memory Bank. Even though I know everyone else hated it, I loved the look of the film.

i love overdrawn, not just the mst3k but i'm kinda into the movie too, how complicated and weird it is. the same PBS folks did another movie, an adaptation of ursula le guin's "lathe of darkness", that was the whole project, in the late 70s and early 80s they were gonna do made-for-TV adaptations of big-name sci-fi writers.
i would have liked more biker movies and more bridey murphy movies.

More kids' movies, like Santa Claus and Jack Frost. They're just plain weird, and they seemed to have a lot of fun with them, which made them fun to watch.

A couple more westerns would have worked for me. I enjoyed those. Same they did only 2, wanted to see more of the lawlessness while the next second talking in their drone ways.

More Japanese monster movies would have been great. Not the Godzilla variety, but the stranger, non-Kaiju ones, like Goke, Mushroom People, Human Vapor.

not 'everyone' hates overdrawn at the memory bank. i think it's funny as hell. but i wish there were more of the ones like the beatniks, daddy-o, teenagers from outer space, teenage strangler, etc. those are just too cheesey. also, anything 70s. and 80s. all of them, now that i think of it.

I wish they had done more horror movies from the '30s and '40s. They did several, but not enough for me. There are plenty of the Monogram movies with Lugosi, for instance, that are public domain(and have been for years). They never did a movie with Boris Karloff in it, either. Something like "Voodoo Island" or "The Snake People" would have been good choices. I also would have loved for them to do "Alligator People." It's actually a good deal better than you'd think from that title, but is cheesy enough to have worked. Plus, Lon Chaney Jr.'s Cajun trapper is HILARIOUS!

I'm with Phantom. More cheesy monster flicks from the fifties would have been great.Throw in the sixties while you're at it.

Gawd, I couldn't stand Memory Bank (the movie itself) so I agree, no to video movies.
As for those those cheesy monster flicks, man I wish they could have done the Giant Claw, Attack of the Crab Monster, From Hell It Came and Frankensteins Daughter
Oh and more K. Gordan Murray imports (Santa Claus, Samson and the Vampire Women) like the Brainiac or Little Red Riding Hood
And more John Agar (how about, "Journey to the 7th Planet or the Invisible Invaders?)

Slasher flicks from the 70s and 80s. There are so many to choose from, and I'm guessing some of the bloodier stuff would have been pretty easy for them to cut out. The closest we ever got were Zombie Nightmare, Pod People and Squirm (all of which had slasher movie aspects to them). In fact, just low budget 70s and 80s horror movies in general.
I'm going to have to agree with ol' Norman on the John Agar flicks. I just really, really love the way they rip on him. I think it's absolutely hilarious. How about The Brain From Planet Arous? (I think that was that movie's title... scared the crap out of me as a kid.)

I agree - they're either just plain weird (like you said) or the filmmakers somehow put even less effort than normal into the film because it's just for kids (like Santa Conquers the Martians). Either way, it makes for good riffing.

my favorite genre was bad spy films, and if they could have found more, I'd have watched more.
