Okay we've talked about scenes that anger and upset us, now what are some scenes in tme movies on MST that you enjoy?
I like the thugs dumping a garbage can on Mitchell and the nutty professor from Mole People.

I love that transformation scene in the middle of Werewolf (with the guy laying on his bed) and how overdramatic it is. Even ignoring the riffing going on, it's pretty hilarious enough on it's own.
I especially get a kick out of Servo belting out a big "AAAAAAAH!" whenever they do a quick cut to the werewolf skeleton and it's gaping maw.

I'm trying to think of scenes from MST3K movies that I enjoy because I actually think they're well done in some way. Hm.
Fugitive Alien, even though it's a poorly edited mess, has some genuinely good moments, and I've long thought that the original series might be rather entertaining to watch. In particular I like the confrontation between Ken and Captain Joe (YOU'RE STUCK HERE!) The scene is poorly served by the dubbing but I like it anyway for the antagonistic rapport between Ken and Joe.
I like the tense scene near the beginning of Stranded in Space between the convalescing Stryker and Dr. Revere, who's given the thankless task of improvising plausible answers to Stryker's increasingly pointed questions. And for all his trouble Dr. Revere ends up in Ward E for being...I dunno, subversive I guess? The "Perfect Order" really does kind of suck. It genuinely bothers me that Benedict places Dr. Revere into an almost impossible situation then punishes him for trying to do his job.

I always liked the Boy Endangerment scene from The Violent Years. Genuinely subversive stuff.

If you're talking about scenes I enjoyed, genuinely, as good filmmaking, without irony or unintentional humor, I'm afraid I come up with a big, fat zero. I mean, c'mon, man, this is MST3K we're talking about here.
On the other hand, there's...
The stripper catfight scene in The Brain That Wouldn't Die. The more times I watch this episode, the more I think that the scenes of Dr. Cortner stalking babes was the entire reason that picture was made. "...hey, something I can finally get behind...!" --Michael J. Nelson.
Paula and her pals ganging up on that guy in The Violent Years. I don't care what anybody says. Had I seen that movie as a teenager, that scenario would've been fantasy fodder for months. "Dr. Forrester has sent us a truly great movie!" --Crow T. Robot.
Peaches Page's roadwork scene in Racket Girls. This should need no explanation. "Is this in danger of being confiscated while we watch it?" --Crow T. Robot.
The scenes with Dave Walker and Liz in Attack Of The Giant Leeches. Like a Tennessee Williams story, only with giant mutant leeches. "...to church!" --Joel Robinson.

It occurs to me that it's far easier to find good acting in MST3K movies than good filmmaking in general. There are plenty of decent performances in MST3K but they're all let down by everything else around them.
Scenes enjoyably bad, though, are almost too numerous to name. I'll name one particular favorite, the sequence in Puma Man where Kobras is trying to control his mind. Walter George Alton gives the performance of his life, whimpering and screaming and screeching without the slightest trace of restraint or dignity. "CAN YOU HEAR HIM VADINHO CAN YOU HEAR HIM?!! WAAAAAAAGH!" He cuts such a ridiculous figure that at times all Mike and the 'bots can do is giggle helplessly. Meanwhile Donald Pleasance hammers away at him with words and Miguel Angel Fuentes vainly tries to anchor the scene and keep Alton's antics from completely derailing it.
Best thing about the catfight from The Brain That Wouldn't Die? The fake meow at the end.

Meanwhile Donald Pleasance hammers away at him with words ... Are the heads eating potato chips? ;D It's strange in a way. but I really like the opening credits of "Girl In Gold Boots'. Catchy song, silly go-go dancing, big monster head stage with the band in thee mouth of it. Unriffed:

Just in KTMA eps alone, I can think of quite a few.
* A lot of the hospital scenes in City on Fire are great, even the icky love story between Leslie Nielsen and Susan Clark is well acted.
* The Burgess Meredith kite-flying scenes in The Last Chase are great. I also found the Lee Majors & Chris Makepeace relationship to be interesting.
* Hangar 18 is a very watchable film, and every scene with Darren McGavin is great. He plays the overwhelmed but still in charge authority figure better than just about anyone.
Not KTMA, but the lunar scenes in Moon Zero Two have some above-average filmmaking and set design. The plot is also enjoyably dramatic.

I'll echo the mentions of certain scenes from Stranded in Space. It can be slow, for sure, but I didn't think the acting was really bad at all. I also have to agree with City on Fire, particularly some of the fire practical effects. I was pretty surprised by how good they were when I first watched it, especially for the time it came out. Same with Moon Zero Two. I thought the re-enacted war footage from Time Chasers could have been a lot worse, too. Maybe that's because the future scenes in that movie are so atrocious. I haven't watched that one in a long time, so I may be wrong

Anything with the delinquent girls from "Village of the Giants." Clothes bursting, growing bodies, hanging a normal-sized man from giant bra straps...the stuff that did things to my 9year old mind that no one could comprehend. I got to meet Gail Gerber who was the first girl who grew out of her underthings, and it took a lot of willpower to keep from saying what her scenes made me think.

In terms of scenes that I legitimately enjoyed, the original "Idiot Control Now" song in Pod People. Yes, the near-unintelligible lyrics and such are pretty cheesy, but personally I think the song itself is rather catchy...in a equally cheesy sort of way.
If someone played this on a jukebox, I'd probably rock 'till I'd drop.

I love the old man walking into the spike trap in Hercules Against the Moon Men, all of Hobgoblins, all of Mitchell, all of the rock climbing from Lost Continent...just kidding about one of those.

Any scene in DADDY-O with the villains in it. VeSota is actually really good as Sydney Chillas & Bruce is hilariously weird.
I have a Joke - Bruce Green the Jock-Nerd...he dumped his OWN books in school!
Heck, ALL of DADDY-O is a great scene! Even with the mediocre editing, singing & acting, it's actually a fun, fast-paced, good film in a cheesy sort of way. And the jazzy John Williams score is "happen' man!".
There's a riff that they never did, there...a missed opportunity. It's so obvious but it never came to the Brains....
MARCIA: "Where's Sydney?!"
BRUCE: "Where do you think?!"
YOURS TRULY: "IN AUSTRALIA!"
In HOBGOBLINS, I like "Kisskicker 99" & Dan Norris' goofy Emcee guy. I also thought that dorky slacker & sole casualty, Dennis, was amusing & I actually like old Mr. McCreedy. Dennis should have been one of the main characters. Just ditch the prologue & it's ludicrousness and have Dennis be the sole casualty as a main character in the main story. Also, the HOBGOBLINS, themselves, though merely dolls & a puppet, are actually kinda cute in their weird, fuzzy-cat faced-reptile-gremlinly sort of way. Road Rash made my skin crawl but he was occasionally funny at times. The bit of dialog about "urban renewal" was actually pretty good!
Any scene with Baba Yaga in JACK FROST! She's hilarious!

I'll admit it: a lot of Mitchell is I think reasonably entertaining, if cheap and made-for-TV, filmmaking. In particular the fight between Mitchell and Merlin Olsen at the end is pretty brutal and effective, although I suspect it was cut somewhat for the MST3K edit cos there are a couple of confusing edits. On the other hand there are 20 mph car chases. And baby oil.
