This was in my tape collection. I figured I'd upload this since I can't find good pictures of this online. Some observations One-Demi Moore's photo on the front looks like a police mugshot. Two-How many lies are on the description in the back?

That's cool... I ran in to some of the Master Ninja VHSs back in my tape/DVD-trading days. Funny to see Film Ventures credited on there too!

How many lies are on the description in the back? Well, let's see... 1. Spine-tingling 2. Pulse-pounding 3. Gut-wrenching 4. Beauty and talent of Demi Moore... Have I missed any?

It's like they watched the movie for the synopsis, but about half way through decided to start paying attention.

The only fists of fury is the audience destroying the tape.

I wonder if my face will ever appear somewhere, with MARTIAL ARTS ACTION emblazoned across it...

I wonder if my face will ever appear somewhere, with MARTIAL ARTS ACTION emblazoned across it... D'ahh ha ha ha hahhh. Good one, Mrs. Torgo. As a professional graphic designer, I'm totally dumbfounded by the package designer's choice for the front cover foto. First of all, she's not actually the star of this stinkburger; second, as previously mentioned, it looks like a police mug shot, or a driver's license foto; third, the foto does not in any way convey the idea of EXPLOSIVE MARTIAL ARTS ACTION. The back cover foto, of Van Cleef hitting his "come at me, mofo" pose -- or any other production stills of Van Cleef (or his body double) in "action" -- would've been far more appropriate. A foto of Demi Moore, as the sorta kinda love interest but basically a throwaway supporting character, might have been better for the back -- and f'cripesake, I would've chosen a far better foto than that Department Of Motor Vehicles headshot. I really don't get why Demi Moore in on the front of this package, and billed over Lee Van Cleef. Her part wasn't really that big, she's part of the supporting cast -- her character sort of just drifts through the movie and then goes away, pretty much -- and she really wasn't that great. Was this tape a reissue, released after Demi Moore became the Hollywood Flavor Of The Month?

How many lies are on the description in the back? Let's see, Demi Moore didn't play Van Cleef's daughter. She wasn't living in San Francisco. She wasn't working at a nightclub. And she didn't tangle with the Chinese mafia. (Okay, Clu Gulager mumbles sometmes, but just because he's hard to understand, that doesn't mean he's speaking Chinese.)

Man that description. MASTER NINJA I and II have long been my personal favorite episodes. I once read that Season Six almost concluded with MASTER NINJA III but a decision was made to go with SAMSON VS. THE VAMPIRE WOMEN, as a send-off to Frank. If memory serves, there was also a MST3K Fan Club letter sent out at some point that season listing MASTER NINJA III as the season finale. Gotta be honest, I would love to have MASTER NINJA III out in the ether. I love SAMSON and all but, I imagine Mike's style of riffing would have been brutal to Van Patten and Van Cleef.

Actually, for a Film Ventures International movie, that's not too bad a cover. Judging by the title sequences that never have anything at all to do with their films they could just as easily have slapped Vincent Prince and Hong Kong Phooey on there...
