Chocolate beers. Have never tried, but they are apparently high in alcohol content. My question is, does it taste like chocolate, or does it taste like beer? Is it worth buying and trying? I don't want to spend money on something that I'm not going to drink. Liquor stores should offer free samples or something so you can try a beer and see if you like it.

I don't usually care for flavored beers. It just seems like a gimmick. I like beer that tastes like good beer. It's like chocolate covered bacon, what's the point? And yes, they do have chocolate covered bacon at the State Fair.

Did I have too much of the Monkey Pee beer last night, or did Phantom CHANGE his avatar? (It's cool, btw)

i don't think i could tolerate chocolate flavored beer. it's bad enough you can get all these kool aid flavored vodkas now. it just seems to me a ploy to make alcohol even more alluring for kids. look kids! chocolate beer! boo-berry vodka! yum! phantom is right, it's totally gimmicky.

I was wondering about that. Personally, it doesn't sound like something I'd like, but was curious if people had tried it. I suppose it is to make drinking cool for the kids.

Liquor stores should offer free samples or something so you can try a beer and see if you like it. Some stores have a wall of singles you can mix and match, make your own six pack. Mmmmmm!

we have a grocery store in town that has that. it's about ten bucks, but you do get to try a nice variety of beers. i've done it a few times. i was going to get the octoberfest this weekend, but i went with vino instead.

I like that. The elderberry wine reminds me of "Arsenic And Old Lace" which is one of my all time favorite movies.
