So Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Just wondering if anyone is having their own Turkey Day marathons? If so what episodes do you plan to watch? Are their any episodes that you watch every year on Turkey Day?
I'm having a couple family members over for Thanksgiving and most of them have never seen MST before. I think I'm going to start by showing them Soultaker, and then go from there. I love introducing this show to people for the first time.

I have 20 episodes and post-MST riffing projects planned, and I have a four-day weekend with which to enjoy them. Now that's how you do Turkey Day.
And now Joel's streaming his own 'thon. Heaven, assuming I can get it on this computer.

I'm gonna go with Shout's live streaming marathon hosted by Joel. It'll be my first 'live' Turkey Day!

Started my 18-ep marathon (would be 20, but I can't find "Girls Town" and "Invasion USA") with "Being from Another Planet"

...I'm having a couple family members over for Thanksgiving and most of them have never seen MST before. I think I'm going to start by showing them Soultaker, and then go from there. I love introducing this show to people for the first time. As luck would have it, I'm not going to be near the computer for Joel's Shout Factory marathon as my wife and I will be having my Mom over for Thanksgiving. When Joel's marathon starts, I'll be on the Interstate, headed out to the Virginia burbs to pick up my Mom and drive back into DC; then, we'll be spending most of the afternoon at dinner and socializing afterward, so when it's finally time for me to drive Mom home, the Marathon will be over... plus there's helping to clean up and wash dishes. Besides, Mom and my wife are totally not into MST3K -- even though my wife really digs bad old movies, especially Ed Wood. So, after all that's done, I have my own evening's entertainment planned: > Experiment 522, Teenage Crime Wave: "Can't we just have a normal Thanksgiving where we all drink and don't talk to each other?" This episode wasn't actually aired on Thanksgiving, but the story takes place over Thanksgiving. > Grateful Dead at the Capital Centre, 11.23.78, edited highlights: My first Dead show, on Thanksgiving Night 1978, my senior year of college. A nice, pleasant Thanksgiving dinner with the family, then off to party with 20,000 Deadheads. Turkey, stuffing ( and potatoes) and gravy for dinner, then pure liquid 25 dripped on a strawberry for dessert. Man, wotta night that was. > Experiment 701, Night Of The Blood Beast, original version with Turkey Day Deep 13 segments: One of my favorite Corman flicks, plus the sight of a lushed-up Jack Perkins hitting on Mr./Ms. B Natural is one of my favorite MST3K moments.

Caught Manhunt In Space last night for the first time in years. Not sure I'll get in much more than that, though.

Caught the last two episodes of the live streaming, Final Sacrifice and Mitchell. It was swell to see Joel again, doing the intros. Anyone have a list of which eps were shown? I missed most of it.
