I checked the map on the website yesterday and it seems they DO have the RetroTV channel broadcasting in my area, however it's on a local low-power station and unfortunately my TV won't pick it up with just an indoor antenna. Drats, not sure I want to hassle with setting up an outdoor antenna just to get that one channel. Oh well, it's still cool that they're gong to be showing MST over the air like this, even if it seems not everyone will have access to it.

I don't know where everyone else is shopping, but my digital antenna was 20 bucks. I've seen the cheaper ones, and maybe those would work, but, like Mod City mentioned, I don't want to hang an antenna out of my window just to see the airing of episodes that I already have on DVD. When I went to www.antennaweb.org/ ,it said that because of where I live & due to the distance of the broadcast signal, I need an outdoor antenna with preamp (to prevent "ghosting") and on Amazon & a few other sites, the cheapest one I found was I think $60. I'd rather put that money towards the next box set, cause I'm a filthy, stinking cheap individual... mostly the latter...

I got mine at Wal-Mart several years ago. It's possible that the more expensive models are more receptive to signals which would lead to less screwing around with the rabbit ears, but once you find the right signal it works just fine.
I use it indoors too, so I've never hung it out the window. So I have no reccomendations for those who would need an outdoor one.

If I can get it at Walmart for $20 and it works, I'll definitely get one. Plus, if it doesn't work, it would be quick & easy to take it back to Walmart. They'll take back anything...

Ah, I remember the last time MST aired on television. That final airing of Screaming Skull on the Sci-Fi Channel. Such a sad day. We never thought we'd see it on TV ever again. I remember that Saturday morning, too. Very sad. Thrilled to hear some eps are being shown again.

D'ahh, hell. The closest station to me is in York, PA; I live in Washington, DC. My house is on Capitol Hill, so my OTA DTV reception is actually quite good, but I don't think it'd be good enough to pull in York, PA.
Shame; it'd be kinda cool to hook up my MiniDV cam in VCR mode and get some nice, new, crystal-clear digital tapes of some of those old episodes... or, even better, my ideal excuse to throw down a couple of hundred bucks for an Elgato EyeTV for my Mac.

Bummer, I'm just out of reach of where they air RetroTV. I'd have to visit my grandparents to watch some good ol' MST3K straight from the television.

Certainly is a bummer, especially when RetroTV will also begin playing the classic Doctor Who eps this summer (I grew up watching Tom Baker as shown on PBS). Wow, my two favorite TV shows of all-time back on the air and I'm not even close to having reception of the channel in southern Wisconsin. In this modern age, that is amazing. I would pay a monthly fee to get the channel, especially when Doctor Whos are insanely expensive on DVD. RetroTV has to figure out how to tap the Midwest markets quickly.

Reminder that the show is back on the air next week! These are the 26 that were originally announced:
But according to a Facebook post from RetroTV:
Not sure which ones they lost, but it appears they gained Pod People and Cave Dwellers!

If I get the best digital antenna around I'll get one stinking Fox station. Somtimes its tough living in the boondocks. My daughter gets 20+ and doesn't bother paying for cable.

Why would they start with Mad Monster? Why not Manos or something to hook new fans who tune in to see what's up.

Is that list for sure the broadcast order or did they just list the episodes they have in order of original broadcast? I kind of like the idea of re-airing them in order from oldest to newest, but yeah, if they don't do that there are better episodes to start with.

What an awesome lineup! If I were putting together a best-of mega-box set, this would be it. Damn' near every one of my all-time faves are in this list. Too bad the nearest channel carrying it is in York Friggin' PA, a bit out of range from DC. I'd dearly love to hook up my old VCR to my DTV box and make some fresh, clean copies from a DTV source so I could keep circulating... well, you know.

Yup, according to the website they'll be airing in order like that.
