Is that list for sure the broadcast order or did they just list the episodes they have in order of original broadcast? I kind of like the idea of re-airing them in order from oldest to newest, but yeah, if they don't do that there are better episodes to start with. Yup, according to the website they'll be airing in order like that. Like I said, that's kind of a cool idea. It will start a little slow for newcomers but they'll get a chance to see the evolution of the show and cast changes, even if it's only a small sampling of the entire run. And it seems kind of right that they already hit some licensing issues, doesn't it? Not sure it would be MST3K without licensing issues. But hey, I love Cave Dwellers and Pod People and the third season in general, so it's hard to complain. It would be interesting to hear about the differences in licensing the show for re-broadcast as opposed to home video. I haven't cross-referenced the list, but does anyone know if all these episodes are already available on DVD (or at least released in the past?) At first glance it looks like they have been.

Kind of surprised that none of the MST3k streamers have found a feed to share. /bitter that RetroTV isn't in Rochester yet It would be interesting to hear about the differences in licensing the show for re-broadcast as opposed to home video. I haven't cross-referenced the list, but does anyone know if all these episodes are already available on DVD (or at least released in the past?) At first glance it looks like they have been. Yeah, all the episodes they announced or aired have been released on DVD so far. Hercules and the Captive Women was the newest one, just added to Volume XXIX.

How cool would it have been if they had managed to secure an episode that hadn't seen the light of day since the original broadcast days? And Smash, that photo makes me really, really upset I can't get RetroTV at the moment. MST3K over the air? Damn. It's kind of weird and satisfying just seeing a picture of a it. Thanks for posting the pic

I find it ironic that RetroTV's network bug has the shape and positioning that allows it to not interfere with Crow in the theater.

Okay, slight schedule change. This weekend's episode will be Cave Swellers--I mean Cave Dwellers! Then, Pod People will be first up in August. Don't worry though, The Unearthly will still air, most likely the second week in August, placing the episodes back into chronological order. Adjust your DVRs accordingly. Cheers! Here is the schedule for July*: 7/5 8PM 103-The Mad Monster 7/6 5PM 103-The Mad Monster 7/12 8PM 105-The Corpse Vanishes 7/13 5PM 105-The Corpse Vanishes 7/19 8PM 211-First Spaceship On Venus 7/20 5PM 211-First Spaceship On Venus 7/26 8PM 320-The Unearthly 7/27 5PM 320-The Unearthly And on tap for August: 301-Cave Dwellers 303-Pod People 323-The Castle of Fu Manchu 402-The Giant Gila Monster 409-The Indestructible Man * Times and availability may vary by station. Is it possible that they will do Turkey Day, starting at midnight and leading up to Joel's 2nd annual? I think it would be too difficult for RetroTV to get all their affiliates to agree to devote so much of the Thanksgiving Day schedule to MST3K, but I'd love to be proved wrong. I'd certainly try to convince WBNA it's a good idea. WBNA didn't air the MST3K Sunday encore for the first five weeks, but we were able to convince them to air it at 2 PM. Maybe if MST3K brings in halfway decent ratings for the majority of the affiliates it could be feasible.

Was adjusting the new antenna at our cabin and was able to pick up this! Wow, an almost perfect '90s re-enactment. Does that dubbing deck still work?

For anyone watching these Retro TV episodes, I'm curious to know if the "Please Turn Down Your Lights" and "MST3K Show XXX. Reel 1" are preserved? Also, does Retro cut the credits or are they also preserved? Thank you!

Hopefully when later season 4 episodes start airing, they preserve the Reel 1s.
