An MST3K host with facial hair? WORLD ENDING He looked awful with it... and he also didn't keep it so he must have thought so too.

It's simple logic. He didn't have it. Then he had it. Then he didn't. No need to mind read from 23-24 years ago.

Since it's kind of getting negative in here, I'll lighten the mood by pointing out that Mike tried facial hair too.

As a person with facial hair I take offence to the direction on this thread!

As someone with no hair follicles of any kind, I take offence to your facial hair.

Let us also repeat to ourselves "It's just a reboot, I should really just relax."

Cubey's lovely attitude reminds me of another "fan" (don't remember who--maybe it was Cubey then, too) who posted that he wouldn't watch the reboot until somebody else did and told him it was good. Really makes you feel the love, don't it?

Really makes you feel the love, don't it? Nope, I never said that. I'll give it a shot. Hopefully I'll be wrong but I probably won't be.

I can understand someone having reservations about the show being brought back. MST3K only became available to me when the local cable co. started offering Comedy Central early in Season 6, "Colossus and the Headhunters". I had to pick up a box and sub to a new package to get it. I wasn't ready for the show to end after Season 7 so I was really glad when SciFi picked it up. By the time Season 10 ended I was better prepared to say goodbye. I followed both Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic and didn't miss the fact that there were no robots and no plot line to follow or skits apart from the riffing. I have mixed feelings about going back to that myself after all this time. I will say since Joel came up with the show that he's the most deserving of giving it another shot. He does have a keen eye for talent.

Hey- Stop the personal attacks or the thread gets locked and people get banned.
The end.
And now, back to the show...

Sorry, Torgo. You're right. I was responding to an Admin complaint that came in yesterday. I didn't look at the dates of the original posts. And now I'M the dickweed.
