Packers over Giants Pats over San Diego Same here Has anyone seen this about the "downfall" of the cowboys... www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJHb9m4ccmQ(some strong language) Brilliant. Just brilliant. I'm tempted to pick the Chargers and Giants this week. Because if the improbable happens, I'll look like a genius. Plus, both teams look a LOT like the Steelers championship team from 2 years ago. A slow start to the season, followed by an under-the-radar winning streak to finish (creating serious momentum), followed by some unexpected playoff wins on the road. That championship game here in Denver was supposed to be a foregone conclusion; after all, the Broncos had just beaten the mighty Patriots the week before, and the Steelers were the 6-seed. No way they were going to win another playoff game on the road. That game was over in the first quarter. Also, when was the last time we got the Super Bowl everyone wanted? Someone always chokes on Championship Sunday, giving us a lopsided Super Bowl. Favre-Brady is just too good of a setup. Murphy's Law (and SB history) tells us it won't happen. It can't happen. Football is never a sure thing. Playoff football even less so. So when there's an upset tomorrow, don't say I didn't warn you. My picks? Patriots & Giants A rematch of the best game of the regular season.

Mr. A, you might be out some bucks.
crowfan's Packers are a force to be dealt with, and they are on their home turf.
The Tribune posed the question, is it ethical for Bears fans to root for the Packers?

crowfan's Packers are a force to be dealt with, and they are on their home turf. Ah, now I see why crowfan likes Phantom so much. She obviously has a thing for old dudes. REALLY old dudes. I can just see Phantom and Brett sitting on the porch of the nursing home, sipping on some drinks. The nurses said they put alcohol in 'em, but they didn't. It doesn't matter though, they don't know the difference. They just go back and talk about their best days. BTW, I'm just kidding, Phantom's not a geezer like Farve.

I CANNOT BELIEVE WE JUST LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I will say, that was one of the most exciting finishes I've seen in a while. The missed field goal?? CRAZY. but I really really thought we'd make it to the super bowl

I can't believe that the Giants won. They certainly played better and deserved it.

I can't tell everyone how happy I am that the Packers lost. ;D
Even though the Giants are underdogs, I think it's still gonna be a decent game. They had a damn good game last week of the regular season. But the Pats take it anyway.

Art Monk finally gets elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. All I can say is "It's about damn time!".
And Darrell Green makes it too. I may have to save a little more money so I can get to Canton in August.
