That was the best 4th quarter I've ever witnessed.
The Patriots lost. There's no "perfect season". Eli Manning is the Man.
I couln't be happier.

We've been seeing very good football since the Bears quit playing.

I'm so happy the Pats went down. I didn't care how it would happen, but to watch Manning drive his team to the touchdown at the end was so gutwrenching but so awesome.

Probably one of the best football games I have ever seen period. That fourth quarter had me glued to the TV and I am jealous of Giant fans.
Because the Lions will never do that...

I started clapping when the Giants took the lead at the end- and I don't know why!
I'm a Browns fan!

The Patriots lost. There's no "perfect season". I think the 1972 Miami Dolphins would say something about that. Okay, I KNOW the 1972 Miami Dolphins would say something about that. Even if you didn't ask. ;D But overall, it was a good, but not great game. Eli started with a beautiful drive, and then things got a sloppy and boring quick. Without that first drive, it was looking like it might be one of the worst all-time SuperBowls, until that fourth quarter. Eli turned it up and deserves the accolades! Some people were bitching about the score, but I think too many people went in thinking it was gonna be either A) a Pats blow out, B) a repeat of Week 17. Neither team though, I would say has anything to be ashamed about (except maybe for Bill Belecheck almost bursting into tears). Neither were close to the worst sports performance of the weekend. (Brock Lesnar's dismal and amatuerish UFC debut took that one) You gotta admit Eli showed he was a man. Half-time wasn't bad this year. Tom Petty did a good job, not as good as Prince, but not like the lows we've been seeing pretty consistantly since the end of the 80s. Pre-game sucked so hard, I thought Ryan Seacrest was around. Oh wait, he was!

Oh wait, he was! I agree with every single thing you said. I watched it with about 20 people and all of them were going for New York except one loyal Pats fan and one guy who had money on New England. Actually, there was another guy there with money on the Patriots but he got caught up in the excitement of seeing the streak end. The loyal Patriots fan took a lot of grief all the way to the end, but had enough beer in her to be having fun anyway. Best Superbowl I've watched with friends in years.
