Mitchell. A Home Run Derby of comedy writing.
The Painted Hills. The Brains turn the WORST Lassie movie into one of the BEST episodes.
The Girl In Lover's Lane. Yet another Season 5 classic. 50s Melodrama = MST3K Gold.
Fire Maidens of Outer Space. The quintessential MST3K IMO.
Boggey Creek 2. After 10 seasons, they were still going strong.

1. Manos: Yeah I know its pretty cliche to say this is your fave, but its the worst movie I'm ever seen, made for a perfect episode and is funny.
2. .Prince of Space: This goofy Japanese movie made me bust my gut laughing a lot of times especially with the horrible chicken-man villan.
3. Godzilla vs Megalon: Worst. Godzilla Movie. Ever.
4. The Undead: I know some people who don't like this one but its a great ep IMO. The riffing made me laugh consistently throughout.
5. Space Mutiny: Well it was my first one, so itll always be pretty dang good to me.

Top 5 is so ephemeral for me. With me ever changing moods, it moves a lot. But:
1. Teen-Age Strangler - Umpty-bajillion viewings haven't taken a shade of funny off this one. "I think we've found Waldo." "Jagoff. What was that?!" "Then I rolled the lawn mower!" Plus I enjoy watching it without the direct riffing, though that dances around in the back of my mind while I watch...
2. Operation Double 007 - My mom watched this, and being a big Bond fan, she thought this was pretty good for a rip-off. I worry about her sometimes. The Malaga airport scene alone tends to nudge this one past sometime faves Danger!! Death Ray or Secret Agent Super Dragon. ("They're playing the Penguin Song!" "Take off the tamoshanter!" "Operation Double Oh-Girl Scout" "Operation Double Double Oh Hee Haw!" "Anyway, I got Lulu backin' me up." "Watch Bond take shorthand!")
3. Red Zone Cuba - a zen masterpiece. People hate it, and people love it. I love it. Coleman Francis had a really dark view of America, and while he didn't convey it well, it still seeps out. (I think my neck got broken in that jump cut! Last known photo. Ridin down the road tryin to loosen my load, I got Coleman Francis on my mind...)Bleak stuff, rendered hilarious by the gang. Skydivers and Beast of Yucca Flats could get slotted here on other days.
4. Sword and The Dragon - Outrageous. Ilya as a waiter sketch, the epic Russian legend gets a wonderfully bemused treatment. (He's got Dick Butkus intensity, I could go my whole life without seeing that, I'm Mike Wallace) Sometimes I might switch this out with Day The Earth Froze, but not today.
5. San Francisco International - Cheesy TV movie pilot gets appropriate riffing. It's heavy on reference to the TV universe (Uncle Tonoose, the Harry-O set, Dandy Don, I did this on a Longstreet once, does John Schuck ever call you? etc.) and it clicks on all cylinders for me.
Bubbling Under (h/t astaroth), and ready to assume the duties of the Top 5 whenever I desire: Master Ninja II, Catalina Caper, Rocket Attack USA, The Day The Earth Froze, Manos, Human Duplicators, Giant Gila Monster, Gunslinger, Mitchell, Secret Agent Super Dragon, Danger!! Death Ray, Skydivers, Beast of Yucca Flats, Riding With Death, Final Sacrifice, etc.

So now that Godzilla vs. Megalon is going to be a Rhino release, I'll need to update my statistics.
Keep voting, won't we?

Godzilla Vs. Megalon - My first ep, and I still love the riffs.
Mitchell - It just has everything for me.
Riding With Death - I grew up in the 70's and this is perfect for me.
Legend Of Boggy Creek II - I've been a Bigfoot fan since I was a kid, man did I run this ep into the ground.
Girl In Gold Boots - Shear idiocy!

Five eps is quite the challenge--Here goes though:
-Mitchell--I know it's boring, and easy, but I dare say I showed this film to 15 people in my dorm when this came out on VHS, and the low-speed chase sequence ("They couldn't shake a trolley") is one of the most beautiful things I have seen to this day.
-Laserblast--Where's the love for Laserblast? I thoroughly enjoyed the 'bots constantly insulting Mike about the '70s & questioning the resemblance between Mike & the protagonist.
-Escape 2000--The world needs more heroes like Dablone.
-Pod People--I realize this one is overly listed, but I have a buddy who looks like an alien that my friends & I still refer to as 'Trumpy' to this day. For an added bonus, he refers to himself as 'Trumpy' as well.
-The Final Sacrifice--Another one that's too obvious, but you can't go wrong with Rowsdower & Troy.

What about the SciFi factor? I'm curious what the stats show in that regard. Surprisingly, SciFi eps are only getting 34% of the votes.

#1) Master Ninja I #2) Master Ninja II: Absolutely everything you could want. Terrible writing, terrible direction, terrible acting. Demi Moore. The buddy "chemistry" between Van Cleef and Van Patton. I'm a huge fan of any TV movie episode and these were like heaven. #3) Mitchell: A perfect episode and you get Joel's goodbye and Mike's intro. Joe Don Baker, leading man = hilarious. "Zero tolerance is so funny!" #4) The Lost Continent: Many of my favorite episodes tend to be the ones when Joel/Mike and the bots genuinely hate the film. It always gets me when they cry or scream at the screen. The "rock climbing" sequence is one of the highlights of the series for me. "What are they looking for?!?!?" "Who are you?! Where are they?! Can we get some frame of reference?! Please!!!!" Maybe the most underrated episode of them all. #5) Santa Claus: "Weird theology." Another perfect episode. A Mexican Santa Claus movie that posits: Santa Claus lives in outer space with Merlin and a team of multi-cultural children laborers. He then battles Satan. BRILLIANT.
Honorable mention: -Time of the Apes: Possibly the best Sandy Frank episode. "I don't care!" -Gamera vs. Guiron and Gamera vs. Zigra: Cornjob is delightful. And Zigra is quite possibly the goofiest monster movie I've ever seen. -Warrior of the Lost World: May be my favorite opening sequence in MST3K history. "Any fruit to declare?!?!?" -Village of the Giants: another vastly underrated episode. Beau Bridges, the Beau Brummels Bridges of Madison County, Ronny Howard. This is another 5-star episode. -San Francisco International: Love those TV movie eps and Pernell's over-confidence gets me every time. -High School Bigshot: Great short, great movie. "Am I a sweathog now, Mr. Cotter?"

1) Riding With Death - An amazing episode, just love the way they pick on Ben Murphy and how wierd the second half of the movie is.
2) Final Sacrifice - Gets the most laughs from whoever i show it too. They had sooooo much to work with and most of the riffs are just dead on.
3) Warrior of the Lost World - An absolute stinker of a movie saved by Joel & the bots. Love the intro riffing on the credits.
4) 12 to the Moon - Some great riffing on this one and some stupid effects make for great viewing.
5) Laserblast - Some of my favorite riffs "I've got grasshoppers taped to my back" The whole scene where he says "hmmm this data proves im a woman" is absolutley hilarious
Others that didnt make the cut: -Parts: the Clonus Horror - One of my favorite episodes, the riffing on Peter Graves is just great. -Lost Continent - A great early episode, the visit by Hugh Beaumont is hilarious -Starfighters - A very boring movie, but good riffing saves it -Danger Death Ray - I loved the riffs when the guy is talking in the front 'Get to the Death Ray! Your not funny!" -Stranded in Space - a tv series/turned movie that isnt bad and some great riffs make it fun to watch

This is a REALLY hard question, but I'm going to try to answer (in no particular order):
522- Teenage Crimewave Why? I had a complete (well almost complete, missing a few KTMAs) for years now but had only first watched this one earlier this year. To my surprise, it blew me away. It has very little competition for my favorite Comedy Central ep. "I've enetered your mind, child. I'm the dream warrior". I think the only other one that might top it is...
704- The Incredible Melting Man Why? Short and sweet, season 7 mostly had great episodes in my opinion. However among the 6, this stood out as the best to me. The story was retarded, the riffs were never-ending and hilarious, and I found out that a cat would jump up, open the fridge, take out some milk, close the fridge, pour it in a glass, and then break the glass...
821- Time Chasers Best Sci-Fi ep? Probably. After "Shorts", this is always the first MST I show to people who have never seen the show before. Dopey story, dopey actors, AAA riffing, AAA host segments.
813- Jack Frost In 1998 when I first saw it, it was my favorite episode for a very long time. The fantasy story, even without the MST guys, seemed enchanting to me.
1012- Squirm This and A Case of Spring Fever may have been an even better way to end the show than Diabolik was, though they wouldn't have been able to do the Mikey host segment then.
It's a little saddening that according to this list I don't have a Joel ep in my top 5, but even this list was missing a million. If it were top 15 it might be a lot easier for me as there are so many Sci-Fi eps I consider favorites. Double checking my list now I'm amazed Hobgoblins isn't on there...or Prince of Space...or Deadly Mantis... or Soultaker. Ahh, too many amazing Sci-Fi eps, not enough space. Not to menion Eegah!, Santa Claus, Laserblast, Mitchell...wow. This really seems unfair to choose only 5.
