I wonder if anyone has put together a set of dvds with the turkey day bumpers in correct placement, to recreate their own Turkey Day.

This is faster than I expected. Nice varied episode line-up too. Good to have four more official releases. I really like Final Justice, probably more than Mitchell. Oops, gotta go, Mike's tripping!

Got mine on Monday, really enjoyed the interviews and panel. I like that the DVDs themselves are in their own box, makes it easy to fit that on the shelf and possibly put the tin somewhere else.

And you might hit Best Buy or whatever DVD retailer you have. If they're all shipped then they could have a few copies on the shelf.

Mine shipped on Friday and the expected delivery is Nov. 3 (I must've gone for the super-cheap shipping, I don't remember.) With the news that it's almost sold out on pre-orders alone I'm glad I pre-ordered when I did. I don't know what their expectations were but let's hope Shout Factory is blown away by how fast it's sold.

What's his name? On the gift label start out JO and then the end of his name.

It's your birthday? Oh, I forgot, I've already made plans to go to Jack Taylor's at the beach. Well look, here's $20, go out and have a party with your friends.

What always leaves me scratching my head with these kind of opinions is, if you don't like it, why watch? Obviously this humor isn't for everyone. Not everyone will get a laugh out of it. But it's not as if the Brains destroy every other print of a movie when they riff it and all you're left with is their presentation.
Also, why give a review to someone who makes it clear he hates the entire concept. If I hate Will Ferrell movies for instance, I'm probably not the best guy to go to for an objective review. I got the same impression as Captain Hygiene, that the reviewer was expecting the DVD of just the movie. But how is that even possible since it has to be ordered from the CT website?

Starring Jerry Seinfeld as Jerry Seinfeld Michael Richards as Crow T. Robot Jason Alexander as Tom Servo with special guest villains Brian George as Dr. Babu Bhatt Wayne Knight as TV's Newman (I'm going to call this a make, but I'm also going to say this is why I'm not a casting director. )

Thanks for the tips. Chuck, do you know the model # of your Samsung? The one I was looking at originally is a Samsung VR375. And is there any way to tell which recorders block out certain shows? Or is it all of them? Mogol, they blocked out every film on cable. INCLUDING Turner Classics. (We have digital RCN.) (When I say "Blocked out", I mean we got a message on the screen saying what we were trying to record is copyright protected.) We have the Samsung DVD-VR357. And it's a little workhorse. HOWEVER, I'm getting a new computer and got the digital tuner to go with it, so I'll be able to plug cable into it, and record on my hard drive, and then burn directly to DVD. Handy little thing to have. The more research I do, the more it looks like I'll just have to roll the dice, buy one I like and hope for the best. Some things I've found make it sound like different recorders have a different sensitivity to the signal block. I really appreciate all the help.

I know what you mean. I'm in my first ever start to finish run of the series, and I've hit the wall. I blame Hamlet. I was doing fine, season ten was drawing to a close on the horizon (Final Justice is one of my favorites), and I got to Hamlet. That was several days ago, and so far I've only been able to watch a few minutes of They Live By Night. Even before that though I planned to take a long break. Keep ordering Cinematic Titanic, maybe get into Rifftrax, and give some of my other DVDs a workout for a while.

Could DarkHuman be thinking of some fan-made version of "The Attack of the 50-Foot Woman"? Or possibly one of those odd camera angles looking up, or quick zooms or something where the guys would often say "I'm huge" or something to that effect? Darkhuman, can you remember any more details like what she was wearing or what else was going on in the movie?

Thought that might've been the case. And hey, if it had been the last episode, we wouldn't have had Mike in the next episode telling Pearl to "Go 'head on."
