TBH I stopped watching this one. I prefer movies that aren't intentionally bad. The ones that lack any self-awareness whatsoever are the gems.

It's kinda inevitable when one of the bonus rewards is linked to total backers. I wouldn't do it, but I understand.
Anyway, the YouTube personality Linkara just released a review of the MST3K comic and linked to the Kickstarter. He doesn't have the largest fan base, but it will be interesting if he can get some of his viewers to back it.

One ambiguity from the update I've been thinking about: what did Joel mean "by Monday" and "by Wednesday" for the bonus rewards? There's a huge difference between tonight at midnight, tomorrow at 11:59 PM, and some point in between.

Being able to get the two KTMA episodes and 8 more episodes for $10 (or would it be $11?) seems like a pretty cool incentive to me. Also, Quest of the Delta Knights! My guess is 11 because I think backers have do a minimum before an add-on, but it's still a great deal for anyone who didn't back the last campaign regardless. If you had asked me in 2015 to pay $11 for the first two KTMA episodes, I would have broken my keyboard typing the payment and account info.

I just checked the update, and it is there. It's kinda buried tbh, but it is there.

One notable thing from the update:
Digital downloads have been added as an add on from the previous Kickstarter. If you didn't get the chance to grab K01 and K02, now's your chance.

From Joel:
"If we can recruit 2500 more backers and become the 7th Most Backed "Film & Video" project by Wednesday, April 20, we'll unlock another free bonus reward:
FOR ALL BACKERS, we'll hold a special "live screening" before the end of this Kickstarter, featuring an episode a lot of you have been asking for: Quest of the Delta Knights! And... FOR ALL BACKERS AT LEVEL 150 & UP, we'll also upgrade your CLASSIC EPISODE REWARDS, and throw in a bonus digital download of the episode for free!"
Would rather have KTMA, but hopefully this isn't the final bonus.

Can’t pretty much anyone get on Roku? I swear some channels are just running off some dude’s laptop. I think some of those channels aren't that advanced.

I expect they'll announce something like they did last time: a marathon during the final hours to boost backers. They may also be expecting the cast announcement to bring people in.

As of right now, 2,124 are new out of 14,313 or about 15%. I'm guessing a lot of these are people who found the show trough Netflix and want it to continue. Interesting data, and that's a very good guess. Another possibility for some of them could just be old backers who have totally misplaced their KS data from six years ago, or just thought it was easier, and so just started a new account for this new KS. True, but on the other hand, there's likely to be a percentage of that 85 percent who didn't back the original Kickstarter but have backed other campaigns in the past.
