Less than ten grand to go. We're actually going to hit it tonight. I hope we make it to at least nine episodes. That way the cast has time to figure things out and work out the kinks. Agreed. Look at Season 1 or Season 2. About 9 episodes before things got going. (keep in mind the 9th episode of Season 1 was actually 110) Yep also compare Season 1 of Star Trek: The Next Generation to Season 3 or Season 4. It's amazing how much that show improved with time.

Already at over 100 grand for the day. We may hit the goal by tomorrow morning. I wonder what episodes Joel will pick if we do?

The Rhino version is fifteen minutes long. There is a lost of the material that was cut on the MST3K wiki. I can't link it because the link cuts out, but if you Google "Poopie II", it's one of the first results.

So it's up to roughly fifty grand in the last 24 hours. If it stays at the rate, we should hit the initial goal around Thursday. I'm hoping Joel announces the cast on Turkey Day, and we get a big bump from that.

Crowdfunding usually draws a lot of money at the very beginning and near the end. I would be somewhat surprised if they don't hit the six episodes tier.

I just watched this episode for the first time myself. It's fine. I don't know why it has a bad reputation. The movie itself is bad, but in a more generic way. It certainly isn't painful to watch. It wouldn't be in my top five episodes of season 9, but it isn't bad.

This means only four episodes from season 3 will have never been released on DVD by the end of the year. That's amazing.

The Catching Trouble short had some vicious riffs. This was well-deserved. The writers also didn't attempt to hide their disdain for Red Zone Cuba. "I want to hurt this movie, but I can never hurt it the way it hurt me."

Which menu guy hinted it? Dave Long under a reply to Thomas Loftus on the MST3K Facebook on the post about the Hercules DVD menu. Edit: I took a screenshot of it. Attachments:

One of the menu guys dropped a major hint about XXXIII on Facebook. One word: spider.
