The (real) telephone noises in Monster a Go-Go, they're so loud and they normally come after a long silence; if I remember right the last time it happens Joel and the bots have just fallen asleep.

>>I don't think the riffing is even that great in The Incredible Melting Man. That's a low point for me. Oh, I think its quite good. Its just the film really sickens me. "This week, on Emergency Patient Drop Off!" "They shrunk me and I'm trapped on this huge log!"

I love the British episodes, being a British personage myself. Talking of eps we find unsettling, I really don't like to watch The Incredible Melting Man much. The riffing is good and the host segments are good, but the film itself is just too much. Watching a guy disintegrate as he munches his way through the entire cast? How the hell is that enjoyable? Mike and the Bots seem pretty happy with the gore, compared to their reactions to much tamer stuff such as The Brain that Wouldn't Die. And then they send another rocket up at the end and the whole thing's going to end up repeating itself and three more human beings are going to melt and go cannibal and there'll have to be anotherDr Nelson, out to avenge the death of his brother and pleasemummyhelpdon'tletthemeltingmaneatmyface... Ahem.

>>Gamera gets frozen in the sea, and the kids get shrunk in a small submarine to go into his body to help him out.
Wasn't that bit in Gamera vs Guiron when the evil lady aliens do a flashback of Gamera?

The first MST3K I saw was the Club Scum sequence of Hobgoblins. The first one I watched all the way through was Incredibly Strange Creatures, but I think the one that made me a fan was probably Agent for H.A.R.M.
