Well it is one of the included episodes. Why shouldn't it? Because it says " A-Go Go" instead of "A Go-Go" I guess they forgot to fix that.

Because it says " A-Go Go" instead of "A Go-Go" I guess they forgot to fix that. Let's all deluge Rhino with emails asking for a replacement box!

Because it says " A-Go Go" instead of "A Go-Go" I guess they forgot to fix that. Did any of us, for one minute, think that they would? Especially after they said they would? STILL NO SIGN OF DISC!!!

Do other companies screw up as much as these guys or do we just notice all this because we are so obsesed?

Guys? Isn't suppose to say Monster a-Go Go? Yes it is. The original mistake was putting the hyphen in between "Monster" and "A." Observe...

A couple observations.
Hobgoblins: A thick horizontal scratch mark appears for a second on the top part of the screen right when Daphne leaves the house to meet Nick after she thinks she hears his car horn. It's during the lame dance party/girl's night out scene.
The left edge of the screen shows a reddish fade in some parts, like the master tape started to oxidize. It's most noticeable when the Hobgoblins first appear and are riding around in the golf cart.
Both these problems may be due to poor quality of the master tape. Maybe the scratch only happens on my DVD, I don't know.
The Phantom Planet: The picture is dark, not as dark as the Merlin disk, more like the Time Chasers disk. You can see the silhouettes, but it's definitely darker than the broadcast version. I must say that it does make the movie look better, but it hurts the host segments, where the lighting is dark to begin with.
Haven't watched the other two yet.

I still haven't managed to stay awake through all of 'The Dead Talk Back.' But that's because I've been putting it in right before I go to sleep, so I'll report back in when I find something out about TDTB.
This is DonQuixote. Now back to Gary in the studio!

Sounds like nothing major so far (and Torgo, thanks for the visual clarification - I was getting confused there for a moment)
Thanks for all the reports people.
MonsterX - Other companies do screw up, there has been some controversy over dvd collections having syndicated versions on the sets! Which is a rook (In one case, the Video version of the set was perfect, so why syndication on the disc's? I dunno)
I think as consumers we have to be knowledgeable and let our voices be heard. If we stay dumb and silent they'll "all" take advantage of us (and I'm not just directing my comments to Rhino)
So why this thread might seem anal, I think it's a step in the right direction for any consumer fan base.

Guys? Isn't suppose to say Monster a-Go Go? No offense, Everybody...but the box could say that it contains the Director's Cuts of Xanadu, Can't Stop the Music, From Justin to Kelly, Gigli and a bonus disc of Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove and Dick Cheney doing an "erotic dance"... Just as long as the discs inside are of complete and perfect episodes of MST3K, that's all I'm worried about. And since Rhino can only seem to manage doing one thing correctly at a time....

I agree with Wild Rebel. I keep my Rhinos in my own homemade storage and don't really care about Rhinos box's. But I do care that there are no extra features in this set so I have little incentive to buy it.

Fine, selfish bastards, don't care about the rest of us! But, yeah, typos I can live with, it's lost riffs I go ballistic over.
I like this box art. It's garish, cheesy, looks bad and is set in a dump - it's perfect for this show! One compliment I have to give the art department is that they've done a great job with the last few covers. Having an artists brain, I do appreciate the thought that went into them.

What was the point of the outer box of Volume 3? You open all those flaps and....nothing! How many trees did they kill for THAT?
