Volume 3 was sort of reminiscent of the doors opening to go into the theatre. (At least, that's what I thought!)

Volume 3 was sort of reminiscent of the doors opening to go into the theatre. (At least, that's what I thought!) I know that that was what it was meant to be.... But it didn't result in anything. You didn't do it to get to the discs. It didn't have an interesting picture when you got done. It was just a lot of cardboard that you open once and that's it. Still, I'm glad they gave up on that.

Yeah, doesn't it stop at door 3 or something? I thought I was doing something wrong, not able to figure out how to get past that one. Man, that design was totally lame.

I actually like the design of volume 3. I think the idea is it's the the door sequence in reverse, so you're seeing the back side of each of the doors, which is why the safe looks the way it does. The cover only goes from 1 to 5 because door six is a picture on the front of the inside foldout.
I do agree though I'm glad they stopped with the pullout stuff altogether and just stuck with making awesome art on the covers. The problems with shelving volumes 1-4 far outweighed the fun their covers offered.

If it meant getting extras, and quality copies, I'd settle for a paper envelope.

Yeah the lack of extras is getting hard to accept. Volume 6 and 8 had nada. Even the thirty minute extras everyone's praised, the interview from vol. 5 and assignment venezuela from vol. 7, are pretty miniscule when you think of all the specials and BBI-created stuff that Rhino supposedly has access to. They could easily reserve an entire disc for extras for every volume and not run out of stuff.

I noticed that Dead Talk Back glitch too. I thought it was just my DVD that needed to be buffed or something, but I'll check it out further.

My Dead Talk Back disc has that big glitch too! There are other minor glitches that happen throughout the episode from that point onward. It's quite annoying. I thought I just had a bad disc, so I didn't bring it up before. Oh man, everyone's disc is like that?!! That is bad.

Ya know what the biggest pisser is? We're stuck with the Rhinos. Fan traders drop them from their circulation list as soon as Rhino announces they will be releasing. My point, once Rhino releases their crappy copies, WE'RE STUCK WITH THEM!

Rhino finds a new way to screw up with every set! It really is bad, there are several digital glitches throughout that disc, and it is very noticeable. Doesn't anyone at Rhino view the master DVDs before approving all the discs for commercial sale?

Anyone care to join me in a class action suit?

I don't think we'd have a case. Plus, it would expose the tape-trading community and definitely expose illegal downloads.
