Even though I've had the Box Set with Hobgoblins in it, I STILL haven't watched it all the way through. I STILL like mankind as a whole.

Remaking Attack Of The Killer Leeches? And a Hobgoblins 2? Hell has truly frozen over, my fellow MSTies.

Maybe they could get that Road Rash guy back. He played the creepy serial killer shop owner in Pulp Fiction. Haven't seen him in anything since.

Why a sequel? the original was an abomination, i think someone should remake "Hobgoblins" and make it better like the old golden rules on remakes.

Don't worry. Remember Edgewood Studios threatening to make Time Chasers 2 a few years back? It will die in production. Watch.

Someones gotta provide material for future riffing.
Im a relatively new mst3k'r and watched hobgoblins for the first time 2 weeks ago. Its was really horrible. Right up there with wild world of batwoman.

Who get it first? Cinematic Titanic or RiffTrax?

Well Rick Sloane is open to riffing, however Mike doesn't want it as it's kind of a remake of Hobgoblins and would be a retread in that sense. However if MJ thinks it suitable for CT, I guess she could recommend it to Joel. I wouldn't expect it though I imagine CT will be older films, just guessing though.

I saw it last night. It appears to be a remake, not a sequel.

Yeah that's the vibe it gave off, when people were reading about it.

May I ask why? Apparently Rick Sloane is a fan of the original MST3K riffing of his first Hobgoblins and seems to be very aware of the fact MST3K actually made it the cult film it is. He sent a very kind email to Mary Jo and sent us an advance copy to view. How could you not watch?

He must have seen the music video with Carlos Santana and the guy from Nickleback
...he had to distract himself from the pain.
